My son ordered a sausage,egg, and cream cheese bagel on a brioche bagel. It was hot and fresh, I could see the steam coming from it as he enjoyed it. The service was great and I love the cozy atmosphere. I am glad this shop is part of my neighborhood!

I have given this place chance after chance because I want them to be great but if I have to list all the horrible things they have done we’d be here all day. The service is horrible. I tried to call ahead they asked if they could put me on a “brief hold” and I said of course. I started driving there and after 30 minutes I’m still on hold and I arrive just to have them take my order in person wait another 30 minutes for them to mess up my order. An allergen was apart of the mistake too which is a big no no for my dad in the icu rn. They finally refunded and remade it thankfully but what a waste of time this morning. This was just this mornings occurrence there have been several others. I genuinely still root for them to work on their service & management because I do want them to do well but the experience just always leans negative with this place.Update: I get to the hospital and the entire meal is incorrect. Then I call them and they hang up on me.

I never leave reviews but i’m obsessed with this place. i’ve been looking for a good, relatively cheap bagel since magee’s closed and this is the place. really cute but small shop inside, great location & probably the best bagels in lex. i got half a dozen day old bagels for only $6!!! their everything bagels are a must try, and get it with butter. i know everyone is recommending their cream cheese but i think its actually better with butter

1 st visit. Menu pics with prices are out dated. $8 for egg & bacon, not the $6 shown here. I agree with another reviewer -that these are very good sandwiches on fancy bread. These are not new york style bagels. Flavored cream cheese on bacon & egg sandwich was delicious.

Best Bagel shop in Lexington, hands down. Go for the amazing fresh made sandwiches and coffee, leave with a delicious bag of day olds to last the rest of the week, just don't forget the flavored cream

Fantastic bagels, lovely service, and all for an incredible value! We grabbed breakfast here twice when visiting my parents over the holidays. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with several ingredients swapped and appreciated that they made it so easy. They had a great variety of options and everything we tried was tasty. Plenty of room to sit inside, too!

After living in Lexington for over 10 years and being a bagel lover, I can't believe I had never tried Southland Bagel! This will be my new spot because these bagels are SO good! Their online ordering is nice and easy for a pickup, or the staff inside is very helpful as well! Not a bad bagel to choose, you can't go wrong here.

When I'm at this end of town for errands and in a hurry I stop here for a bagel.There's a variety of bagels and bagel sandwiches I always have trouble picking! As for the decor I eat in the car chatting it up with my husband but I get quick friendly service and off I go.

Wanted to try out a new small business today and this place looked cute! I will say my husband and I were a bit disappointed. The coffee only came in 1 size, everything was unsweetened (which is fine for me but not him) and the coffee tasted burnt with little to none of the supposed ingredients. We only got one bagel and it was mediocre at best. The sausage tasted like it was vegan sausage and had an odd consistency. Honestly like a frozen fast food breakfast sandwich. For $20 I didn't think this was the best...
