I had heard this place was really good but I wasn't impressed. I went there for the clams but they didn't have both my meal and my wife was blah! I won't make another trip there

Tried the salmon, gumbo, and frog legs. Salmon was a little over cooked. My husband enjoyed frog legs and the gumbo but said it could use a little more seasoning. The chilled cocktail shrimp is served sprinkled in Old Bay (never had it like that before) was good.

My friend and I went to The Ketch tonight I could not believe how the food prices have gone up so much and they give you half the food . The waitress and service was great . I got the fried oysters (4) small baked potato and plenty of hush puppies. To me it was a lunch portion for a dinner price $24 . The pandemic I feel has given every business a license to cheat people and gouge and they are mean about it . It's sad . I don't mind paying more if you get plenty of food for the extra money but not at this Restaurant. My friend said him and a bunch of his friends were there a few weeks ago and they felt like I did . I voiced my opinion and they did give me 4 more very small oysters " just this one time " is what I was told . I told our waitress it is not her fault but we will never go back and I do not recommend this place ! Go to Red Lobster and get more food and very friendly waitresses !!!

The only complaint we really had was that even though we were seated quickly they seemingly forgot about us afterward. A couple came in after us and they were seen to quickly.other than that the food and our waiter were fantastic.
We arrived for a 4 o’clock reservation, door was locked till exactly 4. Most chairs was still on the table tops. All was on the tables where they intended on setting us. I really don’t wish to hear that the noise of chairs hitting a hard floor, nor the appearance of chairs on tables. The outside looks like a dump, from a wind we had a month ago. We left!

Allison, our server, did a great job. I had oysters and my wife had the fried calamari, both were delicious. We each also had a bucket of snow crab and shrimp and all were delicious as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Very casual, inviting atmosphere. The food is great.... my crab-obsessed daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself! LOL Do not expect fanciness or frills here, it is truly a family restaurant but you can tell that they have regular patrons and if you visit regularly enough, you TOO will become part of the family!

4/2/23 We visited about 6 pm on a Sunday, we had a party of 3. I would rate the food here a 4, but unfortunately I would rate the service a zero. We were seated quickly, and the waiter came to take our order. He spoke very low and the bar was extremely loud so we could not hear hardly anything he was saying. He made no effort to be understood. He stood far away from the table while talking and did not speak up, it was clear we couldn't hear him and he literally did not care. We placed our order which included an appetizer. I ordered a bucket and requested that I get some gloves to use. we were waiting a long time, and I was curious where the appetizer was, but then they brought our meals to the table. We asked about the fried pickles and he said let me check, they also forgot to bring the gloves. He walked by the table 3 more times and then was like oh let me see about those gloves and was gone again for a long time. We could see him not doing anything when we had asked for items multiple times. He was not busy. He barely came to check and we had to request multiple times for a simple water refill. I seriously wonder if he was high because he forgot everything. We could ask for something and he instantly forgot and would pass the table multiple times and we had a ask again. I was also supposed to get cole slaw with my meal, which I did not get. Then, when we were nearly done with our main meal, he brought the pickles. This was the worst waiter. If I do go back, I will not let him wait on our table. Really, they should have seated us somewhere else because one party in the bar was so loud we couldn't even hear each other talking. They sat us right behind that party. The waiter should have moved closer to each person while speaking to be clear, he should have been more attentive to drink refills, and ensured all food was received and gloves were brought with original delivery of food.
