Tony's is top notch. The food is excellent as is the service. They aim to please! The atmosphere's really cool also, very unique. I highly recommend.

WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD EVER. I've been to many high-end restaurants in my time and never have I been so disappointed. We as a couple came into the restaurant and got sat in the corner by the bar. The restaurant was not busy and they had plenty of other seats. The food was OKAY we got steak and you can go to Jeff Ruby's and get a way better steak if you plan to pay $70 for one. The worst part about our experience was the lobster it was chewy rubbery and overcooked to the point you had to cut it with a knife. We kindly sent it back and the second lobster we got was worse than the first one. We refused to eat or pay for a $60 lobster tail that was overcooked. Lobster is supposed to be tender and something you can pull apart with a fork. (I am from Maine and had lobster my whole life) After kindly requesting something else we were told no and asked to LEAVE. Don't waste your time or money go elsewhere Lexington has lots of better restaurants if you want a great dining experience.

We had a wonderful time with absolutely amazing food and service. My fillet was cooked to perfection. Anne had sea bass that burst with flavor. The atmosphere was nice. We could carry on a conversation with ease. Of course the wine helped. Hugh had a ribeye steak that would have taken me 2 days to eat. It was probably 22 ozs. Our family style veggies were mouth watering too.
I want to love Tony’s but for my husband and I the steaks just miss the mark. I like the bar and it’s a great place to have a corporate event, but the normal dining area is so loud it’s hard to hear the others at your table. They have amazing crab cakes highly recommend getting those. Full bar serves excellent mixed drinks. We just can’t endorse the steaks.

My husband and I stopped in Lexington during our drive home, and our AirBnB Super Host recommended Tony's for a good steak. We had not made a reservation, but it was late in the evening and they were quickly able to seat us. We ordered the crab cake appetizer. It was one single, delicious mound of crab meat, which wasn't overwhelmed by breading as they usually are. We also shared a medium-rare filet mignon, which our server, kindly split onto two plates. When in Kentucky, it's hard not to order a cocktail with Bourbon! I enjoyed the Manhattan, which was delicious...
Love the Riga-Tony!! Salad awesome. Sadly, the bread pudding was dry and chewy. We sent it back. It was my 60th birthday, so it was free... still disappointing. Was surprised at server's reply... "sometimes the dessert people get lazy when it is late". It was 8:30 :-) We will of course be back!!

Service is amazing as always. Tony's has one of the best crab cakes in town. The bourbon whipped sweet potatoes are chefs kiss.
