“Great food!!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The burgers are delicious! I especially like the jalapeño burger. I'm not really a hotdog fan but the chili they make here makes the hotdogs delicious to me as well. Their grilled chicken salad is my absolute favorite here though. Great people and friendly service on top of all that as well.“
“Me and my husband went there a few days ago. We ordered to go. We got steak and sides. We get home and it tasted like pit roast or something. It's not steak. But we didn't eat it and called them and the manager Candace made it right with us. She allowed us to replace the meals. We again got same thing, bc that's what we wanted. It was the same. It wasn't steak. But we ate our sides and was happy. Bc we didn't lose bc we just ate our sides. I appreciated her even trying to make it right and treat us decent. There was also a waitress named Angie, she was also very helpful. So even though the steak was pot roast and we didn't get any steak, the sides were filling. Candace the manager and Angie the blonde waitress are 2 of the nicest people I've encountered while grabbing dinner out. So super Big Thank you to them both for being so friendly and helpful. “I had just gotten over food poisoning (from somewhere else) and this was the only thing that appealed to me. This was around 3am. When I came in the servers warned me not to be put off by the old man who had come in confused and started ranting at them. I was not, you expect things like this here, and that's not a complaint. They handled it gracefully, talked with him and got him something to drink. They had an ambulance come check him out, not cops, and just casually made me a great BLT while it was all going on(God that first meal that appeals to you after an illness is always a banger)Food was good, but I was just impressed that only two workers were both cooking meals for stragglers, long haul truckers and warmly caring for vulnerable people in our community who wander in late at night with issues like this old guy had.World needs more of that.Meal did the trick too, feel much better.“
“Came in for late dinner and was seated in the bar lounge. Nothing wrong with that. There was a Kentucky Basketball Game going on, so there were people watching the game. There was a party that was rather passionate about the game, and was quite loud to me. (I have sensory issues, but I’m not going to have people cater to me over it.) Some staff asked them to quiet down, and they did for a while. Had some outbursts and the party apologized to everyone in the lounge (quite considerate and respectful). Other than that, the food was great. ?Kid-friendliness: Depending on where you sit, it can be kid-friendly and not kid-friendly.“
“I usually order the bacon cheeseburger and fries for pick up. It tastes just like the quality I remember from years ago. Flame broiled and very thick and tasty. $13 or so for the meal without a drink. Compare to any drive through these days, and there is NO comparison in the quality of food.“
“I love seafood, but I have vertigo. Vertigo is something that hit me while I was sleeping. Trust me, it wasn't a pleasant wake-up call. The reason I'm putting this out there is because the mercury in seafood activates the crystals in your ears and throws you into a vertigo of hell. But even though I can't eat seafood, my husband can. So when I've had a full day and don't feel like cooking, I stop at Captain D's for my wonderful, hard-working husband. I give Captains D's 5 stars for my family favorite food.“
“I am a long time customer I dine in and take out today ordered take out 4/4/24 the lady waiting on customers was terrible asked her for my order continued to ignore me, then asked if she had to scan my receipt well yes you have to pay for it, I said I paid on line still waiting when she did look finally well says it's paid for but not on here then told me Just GO I TOOK MY FOOD AND LEFT. Never have I ever seen someone so disrespectful at customer service than her . Makes me want to stop going here“
“My husband and I visit here often. We absolutely love the pretzel bites. I always get the fish basket the tater sause is house made and is amazing. The only thing I would like to see or hear different I should say is the noise level for dinner time. It's so loud you can't really have a conversation.“

“Me and my lady never been here and decided to try it out. I got the Philly cheesesteak and she got chicken tenders. Everything turned out good! The worker accidentally made chicken parm instead of the chicken tenders which she let my woman keep and eat on top of the tenders. For our first time trying though it was awesome. Good food and good friendly service! We’ll definitely be back!!! 10/10!“
