We eat a lot of Chinese food. I'll be comparing this place to some others. It was our first time eating here today, 4/2/24. We did carry out. 1st, The Spring Rolls, simply put - they were absolutely horrible. 2nd, The Chicken Chow Mein - nice julienne sliced vegetables, mostly onions and celery, a decent sauce - was a 3 out of 5, and there was less than a tablespoon of chicken in the entire dish. 3rd, The Scallops & Broccoli, in garlic sauce was tasty, way too much of the sauce, maybe 6 scallops, penny size. The Won Ton soup was decent, better than average. The Hot & Sour soup was just okay. The quality of the food was at best a 2.5... The atmosphere is at best a 1. don't know how the fish in the fish tank are still living. anybody that gives atmosphere more than a one is out of touch or must live in a dumpster. We tried eating in St. Matthews thinking we would get a better quality considering the image the city wants to present. We will be trying Chinese food off Hubbard's Lane in the Kroger center this next week. So far, our favorite in this area is Oriental Cafe in Hikes Point... We live in the middle of all three and wanted to give the three of them a try and comparison. Three hours later my son and I have both spent excessive time in the bathroom... for what that's worth...??

I’m not sure what kinda of meat or what part of a chicken it’s supposed to be. Feeling kinda sick had to stop eating after a few bites. It’s white mushy, slimly and has no the texture of chicken. Maybe it’s the fat or muscle but all of it’s white and like this. Going in the trash. I’ve had this delivered before and it was real chicken then. Can’t believe they would deliver this.

I don't understand, last time I bought here, the food was good and fresh. Today, they sold me rotten rice even, the included rice is rotten and it took me 40 minutes from China1 to my home because of the detour route. The boneless sparerib is not even good when I taste it. The only food I bought from them today that is good is the crab rangoon because that's the first thing I ate. When I got to the rice, I lost my appetite. I don't trust eating the rest and it's already past 9:00 to go back and complain about it. Plus, I gave them a $5 tip just to pick up my order. What a waste!

Sometimes we hesitate to tell about good places, because we want to keep it a secret to ourselves! But in all good conscience, I have to spread the word. This place never lets me down, and I've ordered from them for takeout or delivery many times. Reasonable prices, tasty food, courteous service (Mei is wonderful), delivery available. It has it all. Delivered food arrives quickly and piping hot. Orders are always correct, right down to the side sauces, utensils, etc. I recommend it highly. The lunch specials are especially good values. I have zero complaints, and much praise for this fine restaurant. Just two considerations for full honesty: It is a storefront & not really so much a dine-in destination. While you could, the tables are more for possibly a quick lunch, or waiting for your order, than for dining. Although clean and pleasant, it's not about atmosphere there, if that's what you seek. And second, due to the price and perishability of fresh seafood, that isn't really a strong point here for an entree. So, please give it a try with confidence of a good meal at a fair price! Much better than a burger fast food drive through! And support a local business! They are very nice people!
