Cashew chicken was burnt and served with sushi rice. Had sticky sweet glaze, more American Chinese than Thai. Large hard peppers that could not be eaten and large stalks of lemongrass that were too fibrous to be eaten. Very few pieces of cashew. Very disappointed.

Was so sad when they moved out of Logan Street Market so was ecstatic seeing Daisuki had their own spot now! We had the dynamite roll and the daisuki roll as well as hamachi & tuna nigiri. The hamachi was soooo good, almost buttery. We really enjoyed the rolls as well.

I've eaten at Daisuki before when it was at Logan Street Market, but this was my first visit to their brick and mortar location. My partner and I ordered the veggie tempura, fried oysters, escolar and hotate nigiri, sexy hamachi roll, VIP tuna roll, a spicy yellowtail roll, and a large sake. The sexy hamachi was our favorite. I wasn't sure about the carrots in the roll, but it was delicious. The other rolls weren't very flavorful, but they were fine. The sushi rice was perhaps a bit dry--something about the texture was off, but overall we had a good experience.

Beautiful environment, with touches from local artist. My favorite sushi now in town. Definitely visiting again.

This is the best sushi I’ve had in Louisville. Everything was fresh and delicious, and they offer rolls that are different from what you’ll find anywhere else.

Fantastic sushi. We got the Lucky role and the Hawaiian role. They were packed with tempura and other goodies with delicious sauces on top. The pad Thai was okay. It didn't have a thick flavorful sauce that I'm used to, more of a lightweight thin coat that was absorbed mostly by the noodles Overall, very happy with our food, will be coming back for that sushi!

This is our absolute favorite sushi/fried rice restaurant! Kid friendly and always consistently good.

Best Saki happy hour in Louisville! Love their diverse menu that is so much more than just sushi. Legit flavors and love the staff so much! Always clean and intimate for dining in.

I’ve been to Daisuki before and the food and service was phenomenal. However, I went there recently and the service was poor and the food was not great.I waited 15 mins for water to be brought to the table and another 20 mins for Miso soup to be brought out. The soup was cold and not like normal miso soup. I completely understand restaurants can be busy on a Friday night, but this service was pretty bad. I hate leaving a bad review for a good restaurant I’ve been too before, but the service and food was not good.

Nice restaurant, but needs some improvement. They cashew chicken was excellent. The red curry was also very good when I had it many months back. The Gyoza was great, but you have to request for it to be Steamed or they serve it fried by default. It would be nice if they asked. The sushi is sometimes great, other times not as much. It took a VERY long time on Friday for the sushi to arrive, 30 min after my husband got his food served. It would be nice if the chairs at the table can be made higher because they are pretty short compared to the booth seats. If you're sitting on a chair you may feel extra short sitting across from the booth seats at the same table. Overall though it's a decent place and I look forward to visiting again and hoping they continue to improve as it's a fairly new restaurant in the Highlands.

I liked the option to fry most rolls. Everything was just okay. I prefer sake blue or Sapporo for sushi in Louisville. I disliked how the seating was done. If you sat on the bench side you sat way higher than need be for the table. If you sat in the chair it was to low for the table. The wait staff was decent. Not very friendly but did their jobs well. The restroom was clean. Probably wouldn't come back.

I tried the bento box 3 where you get 4 half rolls of sushi in a bento box! It was super cool to get to try rolls I had never had before without committing to an entire roll that I may not like. My husband just got 2 rolls. We unfortunately didn't recognize that we had ordered the same roll. While mine was a half order and his was a full neither of us liked the pickled Japanese fruit roll. I tried mine and he ate half of his. I also tried the tempura sweet potato roll (loved this roll! My new favorite since I no longer can have dairy) a shrimp tempura roll and a California roll. I would highly recommend us bento box option as it offers the option to try new things while not paying the price for a full roll you may not like. Our waitress was very polite and even after we paid and were just chatting after eating she, still refilled our water. It was a cozy level of noise and they played classic Christmas music quietly so we could still carry on a conversation without having to shout over people or music. We will be back!!!

It is a small and delicius place to eat, the prices are fair due to food flavor, is super clean and the vibe is really quiet.
