We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! It is, by far, one of the (new) secret treasures in Butchertown. We adore the owner and staff, as we knew most of them from the previous establishment, Decca, and some from other favorite spots in Louisville. The entire menu is thoughtful and creative. The gluten free options are plentiful, as I have CD. Since their menu changes, some of the things I highly recommend this February are:Cocktails:Death Becomes HerLook AliveSalad:Buttermilk greens with garlic struselSmall plates:Marbled potatoesMarinated olivesEntrees:The mackerel (tonight's special)ANY steak on the menu (when it's offered)The chicken with Dijon jus (so good)!Honestly, the entire place has been perfectly curated. It's hands down one of the finest places in Louisville all-around.

A new(ish) Louisville restaurant in the old Butchertown Grocery/Blind Pig location. Different yet similar vibe to its predecessor - a favorite restaurant of ours. I never thought I would be happy to pay $20 for a large plate of mushrooms but DAMN they are the best mushrooms we have ever eaten - twice! It wasn't a fluke the first time! Their menu does change and it can be intimidating because it's divided by portion size and not course. But it's good. It's all good. Try it. Let's keep it full so it sticks around!

I will give it only 4 stars due to the price . Great quality food and service. You can tell the chef takes pride in his work. There are several size plate options you can get and some seem to just be overpriced. Ambiance is excellent, quiet.

Food was wonderful, I recommend the mushrooms and halibut for sure. We enjoyed the sharable nature of the dishes. The bar seems to be stumbling a little, they were out of a lot of their menu and it took a long time to get our first round. The drinks were very well made however. Sounds like they are still working to improve that part of the experience.

Went in on a Monday night, one of us is a vegetarian so we ordered all the veg dishes (I think 8 in total), asked the server to course them out. They did a great job of coursing it, and every dish was a banger but especially the mushrooms and the green salad. Service was attentive, professional and quick--tough to find these days, so extra points there. I read some early reviews complaining about loud music, and I think maybe they've overcompensated because the night we were there we could barely hear their well-selected playlist (Tortoise FTW) and kind of felt like we needed to whisper to not impose our conversation on the tables next to us.
