Food was so bland. The salsa and sauce on my burrito tasted like straight up tomato with almost no spice. Also, asked for extra chips to take with my guacamole and was told a charge of $4.99!!! Lots of people working but no one really interested if my food was good or not. See other good reviews but I give it a ?.Vegetarian options: Bland and veggies had just been thawed which made everything watery.

Love this place! I work long hours and travel all the time, so I slept in today while in Louisville, KY. Woke up like a bear and wondered, where can I find some delicious coffee and food around noon? I Found El Toro Mexican restaurant and the staff were all very nice. They Welcome and greet YOU. Their tables were very clean, nice and comfortable in a booths with privacy like environment. So I had no shame in my game eating like a Champ. ? Had some delicious Huevos Rancheros and coffee. Everyone greets you and they keep your table clean. Menu is good and Affordable. I noticed they make killer Margaritas so I need to come back while working in this wonderful community. Thank you all for being kind hosts with delicious food. Lots of parking and easy to find.Parking: Easy parking, handicapped access next to the entrance. Easy walk in sidewalk for your loved ones if elderly.
We go to El Toro often. Always fast, friendly service. We love the mariachis on Thurs evenings. Food is better than most Mexican restaurants around. 2 for 1 margaritas is nice. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Prices are reasonable.

I came here a lot but I don’t know why I didn’t give them good review. My favorite is Menudo soup which is so delicious and the best I ever had. Mostly we love their fry fish but today we wanted to try T bone ? OMG so delicious(highly recommend). Everytime I want to eat Mexican food, El toro is my top choice.
