I think my expectations were too high. This is what I call "one" and done." I ate the chili cheese dog and some fries (too greasy) while I was there. I took pictures of my food at the restaurant. I tried to eat the mushroom and swiss burger for dinner, but the burger was dry, and something left an aftertaste in my mouth. I threw the burger and fries away. The customer service was good. Although I explained that I was using a Groupon $20 and dining alone, which was more than my burger meal so I asked to add a chili cheese hotdog. Well, he added a chili hmcheese hot dog meal and gave me two fries and two drinks. Remember, I'm dining alone, so I ended up paying over the $20 Groupon, which defeated the purpose of me saving money.

I can't speak to the ambiance of this establishment. I ordered online and my husband ran in to pick it up. We ordered from the location on Cardinal Boulevard. This is essentially a fast food burger. I ordered Mama T'S Burger- Roasted red peppers/1000 Island/sauteed onion/bacon/slaw/American cheese. For an additional $5, I added a cup of Cajun fries and a Big Red. My husband and children also ordered burgers. For a person trying to maintain a mostly healthy lifestyle/diet, this combo didn't live up to the cheat meal hype. Maybe the All Star option I chose was just not the most desirable combination of flavors. I ordered it in hopes of finding what made Homerun Burger unique. It was unremarkable. The Cajun on the fries was understated. They weren't crispy. I didn't notice much 1000 island or slaw. The burger was sweeter than I anticipated. The service was friendly, but overall there's local burger joints that are seemingly superior. That being said, I look forward to trying more of the menu and hoping for a better experience next time!

Only reason I tried is because I bought a $30 half off voucher through WDRB's Be Our Guest and was in town. I went to the Cardinal Blvd location. The employees said the coupon was invalid so I had to pay $33 cash for a terrible meal. The food tasted like it was cooked in dirty grease and I can't even describe what the salad looked like. I've never seen anything like it before. The workers were kind when spoken to. Meal was not worth $48 that it cost me.

I see some reviews saying this place is expensive. True, it's a few bucks more than a combo meal at a fast food joint, but it's also night and day better than fast food, and still cheaper than a full-service restaurant. We went New Years Eve around 530. The man who took our order was very friendly and patient while we took a minute to look the menu over. The food was great. The burger was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the fries were hot and crispy. Fast food burgers arent so easy on my stomach anymore, but no issues after eating here at all. The restarant was also very clean. I saw them cleaning our table before we even got out of the parking lot. I will gladly pay a little extra for this over the other fast food chains around!
Ordered via Grubhub. Did not get my cole slaw or cheese sauce. That was refunded. Fries were cold and soggy. Burger was cold. I wont be eating here again.

We were so excited to find a great burger place with made-to-order burgers AND gluten free buns! Great for our whole family. The service was some of the best I've received at any establishment, let alone a fast food restaurant. The manager was so nice and friendly. We ate in, comfortable and clean fast food spot to eat with plenty of space. Highly recommend! We will be going back!

This restaurant has really gone downhill over the past year. It used to be great. It used to be my answer to "What's the best burger in Louisville?" Not anymore.The last time we went, the place was dead silent (except for a rickety HVAC) and dirty, and only half the lights were on. Most of the retro baseball decor had been taken down, leaving plain walls marked with dents and scratches. They were out of napkins and lids. The food itself was just ok, but at least it was quick, so we didn't have to stay inside any longer than necessary.
