Wow, what an amazing Easter experience! I just have to give a huge shoutout to Chef Garry for delivering an unforgettable meal that reminded me of days past. And let's not forget about the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make our time there truly special. A special mention goes to Winnie, who took such great care of us and added that extra special touch to our experience. It was an absolute pleasure to have such a fantastic meal and service - We can't wait to do it all again!

This is a classic--and classy--restaurant. Let's get the key part out of the way. If you haven't had the original hot brown, clear your afternoon to allow a nap, and order one up for lunch. Toast topped with moist, delicious turkey, bathed in savory mornay sauce (think a cheesy bechamel, but not mac and cheese level cheese or anything), topped with crisp bacon and fresh sliced tomatoes, broiled to bubbly, browned perfection. If you can't scrap the whole afternoon, there is a "petite" version you might be able to walk off on the way back to the office I suppose.... And there are plenty of other sandwiches, salads, etc. to enjoy. As noted this has a very classy ambiance. Very old school vibe, which is nice, but please don't think I'm saying it's pretentious or that you'll need a suit or evening dress to dine! Service is always top-notch. Great place to dine.

We took some friends there to Sunday Brunch and it was fabulous. The food was delicious and abundant. The highlight was the bread pudding with caramel bourbon sauce and whipped cream. Amazing. We will be sure to go again when visiting.

The manager was so friendly and engaging our waitress - couldn't remember her name but she was so sweet and always checking on us . The food was delicious. If I come back to Louisville I will definitely come back here to try other dishes or the weekend brunch

The Sunday brunch at J Graham Cafe is a slice of Kentucky. A wonderful selection of the regions most popular food. The service was excellent. I will be back soon and recommend this as a Sunday hotspot for entertaining out of town visitors.

Excellent overall experience. We were disappointed that the buffet was not available but what we ordered off the menu was delicious. The service and ambience were also outstanding.

Service was impeccable. Michelle is an attentive and efficient waitress. Louise as the hostess was gracious and answered many questions about this historic hotel. We enjoyed our hot brown entree and the chocolate striptease for dessert.

We dine at J Graham's Cafe twice monthly. Beautiful atmosphere, it's a pleasure to bring out of town guests to dine there for the outstanding service and food. Always a pleasure as you're treated like family. Thank you

Lovely ambiance in historic hotel. My review is biased as it was Sunday and “brunch” for $38! Doesn't include mimosa. We only wanted a fresh cooked omelet which was well prepared. Thankfully they only charged us a la carte omelet. Coffee was cold and service a bit slow. I'd go back to try it a la carte.

From the greeter at check stand to Manager everyone was super attentive to diners. They insisted we could leave our luggage by front check in desk, which was greatly appreciated and unusual. They made sure to accommodate our eating requests i.e. egg white omelet and smoked salmon, and had a generous buffet where one could eat healthy as well as usual pastries and croissants. Those croissants! I could not resist one! Thank you for a breakfast buffet(which are rare these days) which hit all the boxes. The Verkamps

this is a positively lovely place. The ambience is tough to beat. And the food is positively terrific. I've been happy with every visit I've made here and look forward to returning.

I have been a satisfied customer for about ten years, off and on. Today had a little chat with Douglas, valet for many years. Mrs Walker, the wife of the general manager, wasn't here today to chat with. Margaret was my waitress for today. My usual waitresses are Regina, Angie, and Kat. For breakfast, I chose 3 items a la carte, one being Breakfast Potatoes which I enjoyed a lot. Other occasions, I ordered the breakfast entrees which come with coffee. You can order a Hot Brown at ANY time, breakfast or lunch. The Hot Brown was invented at The Brown Hotel ?Cool ??Vegetarian options: They have good salads.Excellent Breakfast Potatoes!Dietary restrictions: You can always talk to the waitress or hostess.Parking: This is a major hotel in downtown Louisville. Lots of parking options, including a parking building adjacent to the hotel. A valet is always available to assist you.Kid-friendliness: For about ten years as a customer, I observed many family gatherings with children.Wheelchair accessibility: The hotel features wheelchair accessibility. For further assistance, ask a valet.

This is for the weekend brunch buffet experience. I've missed their famous weekend brunch. I was very excited to come back to try it again. While the ambiance and service were still top-notch, I was left a bit disappointed with a few of the buffet offerings. The sirloin was beyond well done and tough; salmon was the same. There were no other seafood offerings. At $37.95pp and $10 each mimosa prices, I felt the value was not there. Also, once the buffet starts at noon on Saturday and Sunday, you can only choose the buffet or order the Hot Brown. No other menu items are available. If you want old school glamor, impeccable service, and that original Hot Brown, then J. Graham Brown's Cafe is for you. But I don't think I will return for the brunch buffet.
