We went for Brunch !Ryan and LeAndra were so great and took excellent care of us. They had no problem accommodating my boyfriend’s dietary restriction and were very sweet about it. Not to mention the food was fabulous. We had the Brussel sprout salad the shrimp and grits and the Croissant sandwich. It was so good we will be back !

charming

We had the best location and server in the house- being able to sit in a spot in the back. We had fantastic food, drinks, and our server was so attentive and sweet. Truly a fabulous find!

Our server Brenden was amazing! He was very nice and knowledgeable about all of the wines. The cheese plate was so good that I would have it again right now if I could! The fried chicken tacos are one of the best dishes in the city. We look forward to the next visit!

Their food menu is rather limited but everything we tried was. The cheese samples which are an optional extra with the wine flights are laughably small. Parking is a bit of a challenge as there is only street parking and lots of competition for the spots.

Nice place for a get way dinner, the cellar de peppa was an interesting presentation. The ham in the shrimp and grits was almost carbonized and hard to eat.Vegetarian options: Limited options

Louvino never disappoints. We went for Louisville restaurant week fully expecting significantly smaller portions. This was not the case. So much delicious food and wonderful cocktails. They seemed a bit short staffed, but it was such a great date night!

We went to Louvino in the Highlands because of their restaurant week menu. First time there. Brussel sprout salad was a delicious starter and would definitely reorder. Crispy sprouts with a corn salsa and lime. The salmon was delicious but way too lemony. Crispy fish. And the hot beignets were a great was to end the meal. Service was excellent. Servers work as a team so lots of help. Coffee cup refilled without my asking. Would definitely go again.

Went there for Valentines Day. There was a special menu for the day, and everything was both beautiful and delicious. The wine list was diverse and well chosen. Expensive meal, but for a special occasion worth it. (There was a fault with our actual table: we asked for a shim, but discovering that wouldn't fix it the host attempted everything short of moving us as we had just about the best spot in the place, he apologized and gave us a gift card for our next visit.)

Great service and very friendly staff. There was a set menu for the event, and everything was delicious. The wine flight (3 glasses) wasn't my favorite but they apparently change the selection ever so often. Overall I'd definitely return.

Amazing cocktails and good entrees. Only reason for 3 stars is due to the appetizers being very lackluster. We had a good sized group so we ordered multiple and the others were just ok, but the loaded tots were super greasy and the fried chicken tacos were served with a cold tortilla shell so it was actually hard to enjoy as it mixed with the hot mashed potatoes inside. Not sure if they just forgot to cook ours fully but there was only one other table sat as they just opened so our service felt rushed for no reason

First visit and it was perfect. The food was incredible. Small menu so they can be great at what they offer. Love jazz was in the evening which was a nice touch. Staff members were attentive and did well at reading the room. Nice little date night spot.

The perfect setting between elegance and casual. Our service was impeccable which included check-ins from the manager Ryan who enhanced our experience with his personable interaction. The entire service team was attentive, polite, and quick to meet our needs. Not to be lost in the shuffle, the food was delicious! Definitely a great dining experience which we will be sure to repeat!

Great food and atmosphere! If you are looking for a nice dinner without breaking the bank, this is place to go! Cocktails were amazing as well. Highly recommend the Vampire, for any bourbon lovers!

I'm a regular at the Douglas hills location. This was my first time going to the highlands location. I personally prefer the Douglas hills location. My Brussel sprouts were soggy and so was my waffle in my chicken and waffles entree. Could've just been the day I went but I wasn't impressed with the highlands.

It was the perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon enjoying brunch with my friends. We voted the tots to be our favorite, although we tried lots of other items. The shrimp and grits are different (sweet and salty) but are really tasty. My friends really liked their food, too. I have a back issue and there are restaurants I can't go to because of the uncomfortable seating. (Like those horrible metal chairs at Kaelins.) I loved the comfortable tan suede chairs! I will take friends back to brunch at LouVino- The Highlands.
