Heard about this place from another bartender. Love finding a local “dive” that many don’t know about (oh well…). Nothing fancy but wow - excellent cocktails and the woman at the bar was amazing! By herself - keeping up - with a smile! Encouraged us to hydrate and drink water as well. A gem!

Cocktails were very good and very reasonable. Seems a bit of a hidden gem. Chill crowd after all the whiskey bros at other bars/places in downtown Louisville. Nice back patio as well.

Great little hole in the wall. Good place to atop for a friendly drink. Good drinks...good afternoon stop on whisky row. Come as you are...

This bar was recommended to us by a server at another bar. It skews very young, but we still had a fantastic time and were treated great (we are in late 40's/just turned 50), and I had the best drink ever. It is called "The Acid Cat Spirit Guide" and has secret ingredients, one of which will blow your mind. Don't worry, it's temporary! Seriously the coolest cocktail and only 9 bucks!

Wife and I went to Louisville for a quick little Bourbon trip. While we were at Old Forester located across the street, the girl at the door told us about this bar. It. Was the best advice we got on this trip. After walking down to Angel’s Envy and back, we saw the doors were open and the curtain on the windows were drawn back at this bar. We were told by the girl who recommended it to us that the curtains being open was the sign that the bar was open. We walked past at first, then my wife asked if I wanted to go in. It was a bright sunshiny day, and the bar looked dark inside, but once my eyes adjusted it was fine. I’m glad we stopped, the two bar tenders (there are only 4 employees total we were told) were great and the drinks were better. They have lists of drinks that the bar tenders have created and a list that has the common drinks people ask for. The common drinks are $6, but the old fashioned is $5, all the other created drinks are priced accordingly (I think between $7 and $10, although I can’t say exactly). Anyway, if you’re in Louisville you should definitely check this place out. It’s a good time. Oh, and they have a special that is one of the common drinks, a shot, and a beer. Well worth the time to stop in and say hello. Finally, we didn’t eat, but they do have a small menu with daily features.
