Dined here tonight and absolutely loved it. Chris was my server with his assistant Kaili and were the perfect duo! They made our night so enjoyable and were very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and everything was cooked to perfection. Absolutely loved the look of the place with the impressive wall of alcohol.

Have to give a BIG Shoutout about Malone's Restaurant in Louisville. Mary Anne and I went there tonight for our 25th Wedding anniversary dinner and we were treated like royalty! From the moment we walked in everyone and I mean everyone congratulated us on our anniversary. Mary Anne had just taken a photo of me because of my bald head and saying I looked like the guy on Breaking Bad, when our waiter walked up and he was bald also. His name was Jeffery. I told him I'm not normally bald except this time every year I shave my head in honor of my son Nick who died of Cancer 9 years earlier. I told him my wife now has to put up with me being bald on our anniversary from now on. He thanked us for sharing that story with him. We ordered our food. Mary Anne got the Chicken and I got the filet mignon. Food was Fabulous. We ordered dessert which was just as good. What happened next floored me and brought a tear to my eye! Jeffery walked up and told us it was an absolute pleasure and honor for him to have served us and in honor of our son they were comping the whole meal! I have never had a restaurant do anything like that before and it totally touched my heart! Hats off to the management at Malone's! We left Jeffery a $50 tip because he definitely deserved it!

Came here on a Friday evening (7pm). We had reservations for a table for 4. Upon arrival we were sat promptly. Our server came right over and had an amazing attitude. We told her it was out first time and she walked us through the menu explaining the various steak options in detail. It was a very busy place, but it wasn't overly loud. It seems like the perfect place for a date, double date and even family gathering. The prices were reasonable for what you get. You also get salad for the table which is a nice touch. I ordered steak which I asked for Medium Rare and it was cooked to perfection. It was seasoned well, and the meat was very tender. I also ordered the potato cake which was very good as well. Something different, and unexpected. We did take an uber from downtown Louisville and it was about a 20 minute drive so if you happen to be staying down that way it's a little bit of a drive. All in all a great experience!

Belated birthday dinner date for my husband with another couple. We had been trying to get a reservation here for a while and finally snagged one a few weeks ahead on open table! We ordered the fried green tomatoes (3 per order) appetizer and asked for the aioli and the Old Bay honey on the side. Both were amazing flavor pops & I could've eaten an order or two of these as a meal! Complimentary bread with some sort of creamy cheese spread was brought out also. The guys ordered the ribeye and a smoked old fashioned each and oh my bourbon goodness this was the best old fashioned that I've shared a few sips from in the Ville. So good! I ordered the grilled salmon and a side of Brussel sprouts and they were perfectly glazed and delicious! My friend ordered the battered fish meal and it came with a lot of pieces and a side of choice. The salad was good but we purposely didn't fill up on it to leave room for our meals. Our waitress was friendly, talked bourbon with us, and kept refills going. The food took awhile to come out and we had the salad out first and appetizer much later. It was a busy night here so we chalked it up to that. We loved the lighting, the vibe of this place, and definitely plan to return and also check out Harry's upstairs! Great spot for a special occasion or nice date night!

Had a nice experience here. The food was cooked very well and service was on point. The thing you should consider however is that is the food good? Yes? Is it worth the inflated prices? Well that all depends on the amount of your extra pocket cash. I would say it is comparable to Jeff ruby's or Ruth's Chris. Really good portions and cooked well but if I had to pick between this place or Jeff rubys I would say ruby's get the clear win.

Had been to Malone's both in Lexington and Louisville several times before and usually impressed with the ambiance and service although food is very good only sometimes better than another. Was looking forward to Easter Day dinner but was very disappointed as prices were more than usual and what is shown online. When our hostess seated us and asked if we were having a nice Easter, I replied yes, we were and asked how her day had been she replied, "Well, I have to work so and shrugged her shoulders". My water glass was chipped on the brim of the glass. I ordered a Bloody Mary to drink with the house vodka but was charged for Titos Vodka instead and the glass was brimming so full of ice with little to drink. We each got the Prime Center Cut Sirloin "cooked medium" but the outside of our sirloin's were chard to a crisp, overly cooked and dry although the inside of my sirloin was completely raw. Service with our waitress was lackluster, nothing explained, just menus handed to us actually not much was said at all. Everything else about the meal was fine but when you pay almost $150 for a meal for 2 people you expect a little more. Not impressed at all with our visit to Malone's

Luis was our server. Delicious was our food. Memorable was our experience. I drank the best bourbon old fashion I've ever had. Thank you, bartender Kris. From the friendly host stand to the clean bathrooms, you'll love this restaurant.

Was in town on work, seemed like a popular spot so was worried about getting in, but we were seated immediately. The bread, delicious. The bottomless salad, delicious but the salmon piccata was outstanding! The flavors were well balanced but the size of the piece of salmon was incredibly. If a steak place can make an amazing salmon dish, I bet the steaks are just as amazing.

I would normally give Malones all 5 stars.Service has always been perfect, food always the best. But our visit last Saturday I was served a $60 steak that I couldn't taste because someone spilled the salt shaker on it. I only managed to eat half of it it was so over- seasoned.I hope Malone's hasn't succumbed to the trend of ruining a great perfectly cooked piece of beef by dumping a quarter cup of seasoning on it.

I absolutely love Malone's and am one of their rewards members but tonight they really dropped the ball. This was probably the worst service as well as the poorest food quality we've had. From the time we sat down, it took over 20 minutes for our server to take our order. They then gave me the wrong drink which they corrected but then they served me the correct drink in a dirty glass. The salad they gave us had no dressing on it. When our meal arrived, one person's baked potato was still raw on one side and my steak was very tough and I'm not even sure it was what I had originally ordered. We spent over $200+ and it most certainly wasn't worth that tonight. As I said, I usually love it but not tonight.

My husband and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary dinner at Malone's Louisville. We had a 645 pm reservation. We were seated at 655 pm. They were extremely busy and the front of the house was moving like a well oiled machine.Once seated, we noticed an Anniversary card on our table acknowledging our special day. We were greeted by our waiter Colby T. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and offerings. He moved us through each course of our dinner smoothly, helpful with answering our questions and letting us know special menu offers that might interest us since it was our first time dining at Malone's. He was a pleasure to have. Very nice and attentive. Thank you Colby T for making our Anniversary dinner special. The food was nothing short of amazing. From the starter bread and garlic butter, to the shrimp cocktail that we devoured before I even thought about taking a picture! ? Then he brought us the Lexingtonian salad, which was a delicious salad take on a classic BLT...so good. For our dinners, my husband had the 8 ounce filet mignon (medium rare) with lemon parmesan broccoli. I had the 4 ounce filet medallion with steakhouse mac n cheese and a Crab Rangoon sushi roll. For our Anniversary Colby brought a complementary dessert and we chose the sea salt chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.Overall, our dinner was so delicious. We did not have anything that we wouldn't order again. Our filets were melt in your mouth...it was all so good. We will definitely be back to explore more of the large menu offerings. Our waiter, Colby was very good at his job and worked to make sure we had everything we needed without having to ask for it. He definitely helped make our experience great!

Went with my wife for an anniversary dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. The team worked very well together and made our dining-out very pleasant! We will be returning soon! Thanks to the Malone's team, well done! ? ? ? ? ?

Easily my favorite place to eat on the eastside of Louisville, and possible in all of the metro area. The Bourbon bar is amazing. I love to show this to people visiting from out of town. The service staff is very well trained and guide your experience.
