My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary last night and Alex A. took great care of us! We had a wonderful experience and the food was delicious. I also appreciated that it wasn't served too quickly so that we had time to really enjoy each other and the ambiance, as well as digest a bit between courses. We ordered the filet and NY strip, baked potato and the lobster Mac. Our chopped and Caesar salads were excellent, as well as the creme brûlée. We are so glad we chose Morton's to celebrate our special occasion!

Server brought broken glass of water, in no rush to clean up the mess. Bread and silverware were not brought until we asked for it. Food was way over cooked and just bland. From service to actual food, I was very disappointed in service and quality of food for the amount they charge.

We had a company dinner here in a room downstairs. The service, food, and drinks were absolutely fantastic. I had a New York strip, and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also ordered the State Street Manhattan, and it had a prime piece of steak on top. I would highly recommend trying it! I also would very highly recommend the Key Lime Pie!

We had reservations and got seated quickly, it was busy but everything from the service to the food to the ambience was awesome. Our server was the best!!

My husband and I visited Morton's in Louisville, KY on a Saturday night and enjoyed drinks, wedge salads, filets with different toppings, a lobster tail, and key lime pie and a soufflé for dessert. The food was amazing, per usual, but the soufflé fell and caved in on itself and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were out of a box. Other than that, it was all fantastic! However, our service was the worst it has ever been, likely due to our waitress writing us off because we are a young couple. We were cut off when we were talking, given attitude, and basically ignored as much as possible to the point that we were there for around 2.5 hours. While the restaurant was busy, our waitress had 4 tables and managed to give priority to the older couples present, with no regards to our time. For example, it took 40 minutes to get our check and complete our payment. We frequent nice steakhouses and have never been so let down by our service. I imagine our experience could have been different with another server, however, we definitely wouldn't recommend coming to this establishment as a young couple. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. We will likely not be back to this location.

Steaks were great. Our potatoes were a little on the cool side. Not piping hot like they should have been. Service was a little slow. Very noisy with tight quarters. They restaurant is in the basement which was a little confusing. We thought we had entered the wrong door. They two young men doing valet parking were not welcoming at all when they saw our confusing. They had the table set up nicely for my husbands birthday. He got a free dessert but I was not offered anything by our waiter.

The restaurant week menu selections were fabulous. The wedge salad was really fresh. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The wine was great. The key lime pie was outstanding. We had such a great experience!!!

I came prepared for full size lamb chops but they had been removed from the menu . I asked our waiter and he was able to get some mini ones from the bar. They were a little burnt but still sooo good. I had the Valentines days Martini and it was soooo good . Otherwise no complaints.

I feel like I got punked after reading all the great reviews and experiences others have had at this restaurant. We had a resy on Saturday, peak dinner time. Busy but not too busy. Our waiter was ok, seemed really nervous. We got a Caesar salad to start - it was good but if I hadn't ordered a Caesar I'd say it was a lemon vinaigrette instead. My husband and I like to share the meal so we got a Ribeye, Med Rare, and 2 sides. The Ribeye came out grey in color, cold to the touch - I swear there's no way it touched a hot skillet, no sear or cook marks to be seen. It was the worst steak I've ever had to pay for and we could finish it since it hadn't been cooked to render the fat or the tendons. Of the 2 sides, the au gratin potatoes came out bubbly and cheesy - they were ok. The other we were really excited about, the Corn Soufflé. It came right from the fridge. No browned cheese on top or bubbling goodness - it was COLD. We had one bite and didn't eat another. The waiter did come by to see how everything was but we hadn't tried anything yet to tell him and by the time he returned we were done with what was edible.Last but not least we were offered an on-the-house chocolate cake. We were again excited, had been told it was great. The only thing I can say is that I got a mint as soon as we got to our car to go home just to get the lingering bitter and grainyness out of my mouth.

Great food and service (shout out to Brice) We had oysters on the half shell, Cajun Ribeye, filet mignon, lobster Mac and cheese (with large chunks of lobster) and our waiter recommended the hot chocolate ice cream sundae that did not disappoint!!

David was a fantastic server. I can not remember the last time I had a server who was genuinely kind and thoughtful, as well as knowledgeable about the menu, able to recommend items for us to try.

My husband and I have visited Mortons a couple times for dinner dates. The food and service has always been fantastic. Unfortunately, the dress code has not been enforced these nights. One of the 2 nights Louisville was playing at home. There were numerous parties in hoodies. A few guys were seated next to us that had hats, hoodies and sweat pants on. As soon as they sat down the smell of weed was so strong and overwhelming. It's unfortunate.

Can't say enough about the service here. From the moment that i arrived. The Valet was super accommodating helped me with an awesome parking spot for a show at the theater after, and super helpful with a walk in table and no reservation. Now onto dinner. For a place that is probably not considered kid friendly usually, my daughter is 4 and super well behaved so i tend to take her wherever, and she wanted steak and bacon. Boy did they deliver. I'm generally worried about ordering steak when i go out, because i can cook a mean steak at home, but this filet was top quality, melt in your mouth perfect medium rare. The fries were suuuper flavorful. Almost too much, but i ordered em for the kiddo and she loved em. Not only did they bring her some bacon, (Not an on menu orderable item) but Taryn the events director stopped by and chatted up my daughter who loved the interaction, and our server was awesome. Couldn't remember his name. Blonde hair guy 1/31 made sure to take awesome care of a usually painful table. Needless to say, from the glowing host to all the staff, thank you all so much for making my daughter's night special, and I'll definitely be making this an ideal destination for nights downtown.Kid-friendliness: Super accommodating, but my daughter is well behaved. I would not take demon spawn children here. Lol
