Excellent donuts, good value, usually pretty lousy service. Understaffed, long lines, sloowww. Having to wait in line even though you ordered and paid in advance. Pretty lame.

The doughnuts sure looked good, but they weren’t fabulous. My husband always compares every doughnut to Krispy Kreme, and this didn’t come close. To be fair, they were cold, so perhaps they would be better warmed up, but a Krispy Kreme doughnut is still tasty no matter the temperature. Hence my score of 2/5 on food. The coffee was fine, but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere was cool and eclectic, but I felt like they didn’t use their space in the best way. More seating would be preferable. The best part of our experience were the employees who were efficient and friendly!

As a woman of color I pay special attention to how I’m treated everywhere I go. Depending on who is working when I go in I either feel welcomed and like my money has been well spent or I feel like my money isn't welcomed. The doughnuts are delicious. They are different than any other doughnut I’ve ever tasted. The coffee varies depending on who makes it. There’s a young guy who works there who makes the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. When he isn’t there the coffee really isn’t worth purchasing. The shop itself is adorable. Whoever designed it has a great eye for color and decor.

First time visiting this location on a whim. I bought 1 glazed donut and a hot chocolate. I read reviews and here is mine, completely a preference thing. The donut was fresh but I prefer a lighter fluffy style donut with more glaze. I also felt as if it was a little dark from other regular, glazed donuts I’ve had at other places but not quite sure about that either. The hot chocolate was not my personal favorite as I like a more creamy, milky hot chocolate. I am not sure what they use to make it, as I did not watch them. I was too busy admiring the interior, it was warm and welcoming. I would be willing to try other items and give this place another shot. To any who read this I want to say that this is not a negative experience, it’s my personal preference when it comes to the items I purchased. Have an amazing day?

Mashed potato donut! I prefer savory over sweet & it hit the spot. Came pretty early and the donut selection seemed small but we ordered the specialty dozen. Coffee was not good - I ordered an iced coffee and it was bitter & just gross.

The donuts are quite good, and they have a myriad of rotating unique options to choose from. I would particularly recommend their Mexican chocolate donut as it comes with a little chili powder on top, which goes nicely with the sweetness of the donut. The donuts are delicious, but they are heavy and you will feel it for the rest of the day, so plan accordingly!

North Lime appears to be a cute little donut and coffee shop. The place was clean and service was fine. I really went for a donut. Their was no visual way to choose your donuts. The donuts were on a bakers rack behind the bar. I choose a chocolate glazed and was shocked how stale it was. I did have a macchiato that was pretty good. Other than them asking if I wanted a Carmel or regular macchiato. Probably would get coffee there but not a donut. Too many good donuts in Louisville

Barista was speedy and friendly. Tried the vegan donut of the day (glazed pumpkin) and it was delicious. This place is cute, cozy, and friendly to those with different dietary needs.

Early bird gets the worm (donut)!! Be prepared to be up early to get their donuts. When arriving a little after 9 the donuts were already severely picked over. I still managed to get one that was good, but I would've loved to try one that was already sold out! Their coffee is good & strong but a little heavy handed on the syrups. I usually enjoy sweet drinks but this one was a bit too much. I've been many times but this was my first time working in the upstairs area and although the seats are a little hard I really loved the space. It was lofty and full of light but also far enough away from the barista area that you didn't hear the loud noises that sometimes accompany coffee makers.
