Decided to check it out when our regular sushi place was full. So glad we did! This is a great little place, plus locally owned. It was pretty full when we got there but we were seated pretty quick. Got a couple ginger salads and a couple sushi rolls for a really good price! Everything was delicious and the service was awesome.This is a small building with a difficult parking layout, so be prepared for that.

Amazingly fresh fish and tasty, innovative rolls. I love coming here with my family because of the quiet atmosphere and attentive service. The rolls we had today were the Louisville, UK, Spicy Mary, Hot n Spicy, and Geiza, plus yellow tail sashimi. Portions were huge and it was so hard to pick a favorite. The rolls with fruit are so interesting and we are always surprised at how much we love the unique pairings.

I am moat definitely a sushi snob! The sushi at Oishii is both the best tasting and best bang for your buck you can get in Louisville! The nigiri IA so huge, I can't even hold the entire piece in my chopsticks once I dip it in soy sauce. During lunch service, I love watching the owner pull the fresh salmon out of the shipping container and filet it with his razor sharp filet knife. It looks so fresh and yummy! You can't miss at this place. It's like shooting a jump shot from 5 feet away!

We come here a lot for lunch and dinner. Portions are large and always fresh. This is our favorite go to sushi. They also offer a very good value for the size of their rolls. A must try if you like sushi!
