Stopped by for dinner and drinks with friends. Nice place with a distinct, neighborhood feel. Definitely more “bar” than “brewery,” but that’s okay! Had a little trouble finding parking, but wasn’t too bad.We each had something different from the menu, and were each really impressed. I tired the El Guapo burger: Phenomenal! Spicy, spicy, spicy but really full of flavor. Washed it down with the Bourbon Barrel Ale (after all, this is Kentucky, right?): So so good! Thanks for a great meal, guys!

I had the Dirty Burger medium well, no onions. Really good, not greasy, two 1/4 pound patties with a lot of flavor from the grill. Good Hawaiian style bun and nice special sauce.

Good beers and food but it was unclear if we needed to order at the bar or there was table service. It wasn't that busy but they seemed overwhelmed when we first got there, then it got better.

This is a place with decently good food but with price that is 3 dollars higher than what the food is worth. Bill is also wrong. Just fyi, food is 14 for the burger +4 for the fries. Overall decent experience but just would choose a place that has slightly more value.

The Public House is the same pendant as Against The Grain at Slugger Field but this location is smaller and more cozy. The pub serves pints of beer for four dollars from 4-7 weekdays. Sundays are usually a more quiet time to visit.Cardinals sports fans are welcome. Everyone who is friendly is welcome.

Greatest burger I’ve ever eaten!

We were in Louisville for the holidays and were looking for a great burger and we found it here. We had The Weird Al-buquerque and a Dirty Burger and both were amazing. The highlight of the meal was the sides. The Potato Salad was great but the Brussels Sprouts were out of this world. We will be back again when we are back in Louisville.

While visiting Louisville we decided to stop here for lunch based on raving reviews. We ordered a couple underwhelming beers, a below average fish sandwich, and some overpriced cheeseburgers. The $4 extra for fries was probably the tastiest thing we tried.Overall nothing really knocked it out of the park for $60 we paid for 2 adults and 2 kids. Wished we would’ve gone somewhere else while visiting Louisville.

Lovely bar with grate loaded fries! Bartender brought my dog a dish of water on the patio. Bless his heart!
