I first learned about them through the Logan Street market, and then I found their actual location. It's very cozy inside and I like their black magic ice latte. I have gotten one of their breakfast burritos, it was good but portion size was small. They also have a pick up area if you need to go order which is really nice since they do not have a drive-through.

Our neighborhood needed a good coffee shop. Love the staff at Safai, always friendly and they remember what their customers order. 1 block from my office is a bonus!

If you have not tried Safai Coffee Bar, stop by! I love the Mega Chocolate drink. It is so delicious. The cafe is normally busy but it is still a place to relax and enjoy your coffee treat.

I've been all over, and had a lot of coffee, but by far the best coffee I've ever had.

This is located in the Logan Street Market. Unlike the location on Bardstown Road this place will still punch your Safai Coffee loyalty card that earns you a free coffee after 10 purchases I think. Go figure. The coffee is very good and piping hot. Sometimes that doesn't happen at other coffee shops. Service is pleasant and friendly. There are a number of places to sit and enjoy your coffee. Oh, you won't find this coffee shop on TripAdvisor as they are woefully behind.

Incredible flavors. Impeccable service. Invigorating atmosphere. My favorite place in Louisville. I implore you to experience it.

Looks cute at first, meh experience. My husband's coffee was really good according to him, the matcha that I got was the poorest quality matcha I've ever tasted. Looked like sewage green, so it's clearly the lowest grade matcha you can find, and I knew just by seeing the color that it was gonna be a rough time, and I was right. Also, the person who made the drinks is overall unpleasant, the two times we've been there. Slams your drink down on the counter and acts as if she hates her job. Which, if you do, I don't have a problem with it. A job's a job and I don't need you to be happy-go-lucky. But no need to take it out on innocent customers who didn't even interact with you.

I got the Mega Mocha. It’s really burnt, bitter, and unbalanced. The chocolate tasted really good, I wish the espresso was better made.

No one was at the register taking orders. There were three people behind the counter, one was making coffee and the other two were chatting. We had already been waiting a while before I started to get annoyed. I checked the time then we waited an additional five minutes. At this point no one had said a word to us and they were all clearly going out of their way to avoid eye contact. When someone finally took our order they were clearly not interested in being nice. We were definitely Bothering them. The coffee was average, so next time we go to the “market” we’ll stop somewhere else for coffee beforehand.

Coffee is decent but the young girl who took my order was rude. Personality of a rock with no thank you'd or even a hello.

Walked 2blocks and sign on the counter said “will be back in 20 minutes” . 2 people take a break at same time? Bad business concept
