I like Salsarita's food . I especially like that during lent I can get shrimp tacos . But tonight was super disappointing due to the female cashiers actions . I nice young man greeted me and was friendly and quickly made my food . Then the female cashier ask me what I got . I said a taco. She starts unwrapping my food. Like she didn't hear me or believe me. I didn't like here touching all over it and breathing all over it. Then she squished it up ( was a soft taco) opposite length of the taco and all the ingredients were falling out . Then she was trying to re wrap making more of a mess tearing the tin foil and trying to squeeze it all back in their . The taco looked like a hot mess. Her solution was then to grab another piece of tin foil and squeeze and squash it in their . I'm just mortified by now. The people in line behind also could not believe she was trying to serve me this. They were even making remark of how gross and hoping she would not finger and squash their food. She then wanted me to pay for this horrendous looking squashed taco . I said I didn't want that . She said I could pay and get back in line and they would make another . No thank you . I mean would she try to make me a pay a second time . Would she squeeze and squash it . No just no. I like this place I want to support women owned businesses. I know the owner can't always be there to oversee. But this was completely unacceptable. This was supposed to be my dinner . It was 8pm and I was starved and tired . I left with no food . Thanks for ruining dinner and leaving me hungry.

I want to recognize the young man who helped my brother and myself at lunch today.My brother is blind. Typically when I take him out to eat people will direct questions regarding my brother's order to me while my brother just stands there.But at Salsaritas at Hubbard Lane, the young man consciously addressed my brother in asking for my brother's order. It meant a lot to my brother to be seen and heard and also treated with respect. It was a great interaction.Thank you the the young man. He was Hispanic and had a beard with mustache. He also wore a cap.Vegetarian options: Plant based chorizo plus all the toppings. Win win.
This is a great quick service Mexican restaurant! Stopped in today for lunch and had a burrito and chips. Burrito was filled to the brim and delicious. Chips were probably the best part! Great place to go if you are looking for something a little different than your bigger chain burrito/bowl stops.
I was just picking up a delivery here. They used to be really slow. I don't know what happened but, they are very on top of things now. Always a pleasure to pick up and deliver their food for them.

The sour cream was old and warm..Couldn't go back to work that day. Just awful! It used to be so good. This time the food was not fresh. The worker did not know English. Kinda of irritating ordering and having to keep repeating order. More irritating to get sick from their food and have to call out the rest of the work day.

Amazing service and fresh ingredients! Salsarita is very similar to a Qdoba or chipotle, you step up to the counter, and order what you want as you go. I think the thing that stands out to me the most was the customer service. I was served by a younger girl who was in college and she was so sweet and kind. We chatted a little bit about her major and just generally about college, you could tell that she was genuinely enjoying her job . To me, that is so refreshing to see in the service world. I think we all get a little bogged down by the day-to-day life, and being treated so kindly by her was such a perk! Oh!!! They have blue Powerade in the soda machine!! Any fellow WKU grads will understand the excitement and delight !
