We participated in The Chef’s Table event. The ad said “All you care to have”, but when we arrived the food was pre-portioned in appetizer sized portions (fish was literally one bite!) and there were signs that you were only allowed one. What really makes that a shame is that the little that was on the plate was really delicious. It certainly was not worth the $30 per person.

This place was amazing! I attended for a networking event and it was so sleek and incredible. It's a beautiful and elegant place, that's for sure. I didn't see a show, but the bar and lounge area was such a cool spot to enjoy company. The bar staff was so friendly and enjoyable, and so helpful too! The food? Phenomenal. Honestly I don't even know what I ate but it was so good! I do hope to go back for an actual show to get the full experience!

The food is all cold and premade. I chose the sandwiches and the bread was hard. Everything is served in plastic boxes. The wine is also served in plastic and the pours are small. It looks like easy finger food but my sandwiches had drippy sauce that got on the dress I was wearing to attend the Broadway Series. And, there were only 2 people taking orders so the line was long. It’s too bad. This is a great venue and has been good in the past. But, I don’t recommend it now.

All the shows. Not a bad seat in the house. Comfortable and easy to get to and around.

This isn't where you want but I go for dinner before a show. All they have is cold food. $65 for 3 people to get 3 cold slider sandwiches each with 1 slice of deli meat, cheese, huge bun, and a $10 bourbon and coke a piece. I took the bread off and ate the deli meat and cheese since the bun was terrible. Look for somewhere to eat before a show.

This place has some incredibly lame food. Of course it is Louisville Kentucky so you need to lower your standards a lot. Taste like peanut butter and noodles and they are calling it Indonesian. It’s one of those places you try once then make a promise to yourself to never step foot back in.

An amazing organization that brings Kentuckians together through performance. They host so many wonderful live shows but they also educate, inspire, and make art accessible.

I liked it! A bit pricey for some items, but spot on for others. I had the fish special which was an interesting salmon dish. $28 and worth it! My husband had the burger $17. Not a good choice. We had the appetizer skewers $13 which were delicious and the chocolate tahini cake $11 which really surprised us flavor wise. We did not leave feeling overly full which is good since we were there for the show.I highly recommend it for one more reason. Location. It makes getting to the theatre so much easier!!!

Booked a reservation an hour and a half before a show. Took almost an hour to receive a burger and pork chop. Burger was dry and overcooked. Pork chop was the same-could hardly slice into it. No table service at bar tables and the lines at the counter make it hard to even get a water refill. We 've eaten there before prior to shows and it's still the same slow service , same mediocre food. We like the idea of going to one location to be able to dine and see a show, but unfortunately it's too much hassle with this venue. We won't be eating here again.

We waited after being seated and were passed over by a waitress several times when I finally asked her who was our waitress. She said I am and walked away. She eventually came back, we ordered. It was a long wait. I had to ask her about our food. I noted a couple who were behind us in line were waited on before us. I feel The Scene is convenient for KPA attendees. It is overpriced & service is sketchy. I doubt we would patron it again.

Dinner before a show, our reservations were at 4:30 pm and show started at 6:30. We ordered appetizers and food at the same time as suggested by our waiter, since it gets busy before show time. We did not get our food until 6:00 pm. We had to shovel our food down quickly, so we could make it to the show on time. We asked the waiter several times when our dinner would be ready. Just kept telling us a few more minutes. He was very apologetic and did not charge us for our drinks and appetizer due to the extra long wait. We think this place has great potential. They just need to expand their menu and make prices match up to the entree. $17 for a small cheese burger and fries is steep.
