My friend and I did brunch here today and, 10/10! I enjoyed everything from the $2 mimosas to the menu options, and the patient and attentive service of our waiter! I will definitely be recommending to others and attending again myself!

The selenas clam bacon Spinach cheese dip or whatever was really gross. I got thrown into a corner as well and was kind of given no attention. Poor experience and not worth driving to, would have had a better time at a Wendy's.

I have passed this place from time to time, but have never thought to eat there. My wife found a Groupon and purchased it for us. I was very happy that she did. The food and service was excellent. We loved it and will be going back again.

We were really looking forward to our dinner for 2 at Selena's at Willow Lake Tavern tonight. Unfortunately we were seated but never got served. After 20 minutes we left. They weren't particularly busy tonight. Hopefully our service will be better Easter we have a large reservation.

Tried the gumbo. It was ok...I am originally from south Louisiana, in a true gumbo, there is shimp or crawfish, clam pieces, crab meat, and oysters... you can cheat and substitute fish with chicken... but then, advertise it as chicken gumbo... it did leave a little heat in the mouth...so that part was good and it has a small amount of rice which is also good...Then i tried the crawfish/shrimp ettoufee...Etoufee is not typically serve in a brown sauce and this was dark brown almost like the gumbo...I didn't like it at all.There is etoufee and there is a Creole version...This was neither. Etoufee is light sauce both in appearance and in taste combined with seasons and heat but not too much heat left in the mouth so that the seasonings combined with the shrimp or crawfish bring out the shrimp or crawfish flavors... The differrence between etoufee and creole is the tomatoe paste it's a red sauce rather than the lighter sauce of the etoufee.This brown sauce "etoufee" was neither appealing in presentation nor in taste. Except for the heat it actually covers up the seafood taste.I would not forrce myself to eat it.I will not be back...

Food was good but I was surprised by how rundown the inside was for the price.2 of us had duct tape on our seats and when you looked around everything is beat up and past it's prime.Food was basically good but nothing I would rush back for.
Very rustic, service was A+, my father's side of the family is from New Orleans so this was the first time I had good red beans and rice at a restaurant in KY.The food is great and the portion size is generous. I came here for my birthday and I will definitely be back.

My friend and I visited this spot, and we both enjoyed our meals. He got the stuffed shrimp meal, and I got the blackend shrimp pasta with spinach and mushroom. The pasta was delicious!! I didn't like the fried green tomatoes, but the meals made up for it. Also, we were greeted when we went in and seated immediately on a Sunday after 6 o'clock. The waitress was fast and kind. I would recommend this restaurant.
