I ate here with friends a few days ago, and I've quite literally not been able to stop thinking about how good this place was since we left. I still have leftover hummus and I have never in my life had anything so good. Seriously, stop here just for the hummus if the rest of the menu isn't your thing. 100/10 absolutely recommend.

We've been trying to order from the Falafel House for a while now. Tried a couple weeks ago on a weekend, and the number was always busy. Tried again last night (Tuesday) and was able to get through. One of my issues was I couldn't find a menu or official website. I was able to find a partial menu through All Menus, but was hoping for an official menu with pricing. I called to place an order and the person on the phone prompted me through the options and explained what items included. We ordered the beef and lamb gyro, and upgraded to the plate which included double meet, fries, side salad and pita bread. I ordered the falafel plate, which I thought included the same, but instead of fries it included rice and hummus. We also ordered the large hummus and the pickles and olives side. We were quoted 15 minutes and were told our order total. When I arrived at the restaurant I was a little concerned due to the appearance of the inside of the restaurant. It was really dirty, chairs were moved to on top of tables to prohibit seating, but looks like it hasn't been cleaned or tidied up in a while. The person working the register never really acknowledged that I had arrived. Finally he asked what I ordered and I was able to pay. After a 5-7 minute wait my order was ready and I headed home. The order was correct and the food was good, but not great. The hummus portion was plentiful, but the pitas seemed store bought and weren't toasted or warmed at all - just placed in a brown paper bag. The hummus also had maybe cut up pickles and juice on the top of it. The pickles and olives included sliced olives and was mostly peppers (see photo). The falafel plate was good and included lots of rice, but the side salad was flavorless (maybe no dressing), as well as the tzatziki sauce. The falafels were okay, not a lot of flavor either. The gyro meet was delicious though and the portion was large. I had noticed meat on a spit while inside, and the fries were gobbled up by our kids. Not the best Mediterranean food, but parts of it were good. I probably won't be back due to the appearance and cleanlinesses of the restaurant.

Beat Falafel I've ever had. Two guys in this little shop that make great falafels. If I lived close I would eat here once a week. I had the euro plate with falafel side. Fantastic

Used to be pretty good. Starting to cut corners though. 3.25 for a handful of fries. Used to come in a nice container. Gyros missing tomatoes. Only a couple tiny little pieces.last few times they've rounded up on the bill. Store seems to be getting dirty and sit in service isn't even happening. Also friendliness is out the door. Sadly I will be parting ways in search of better medditteranian

Everything here is absolutely delicious! Their babaganoush, hummus and special salad are some of my favorite dishes to pick up to take to parties because they come in such large portions (and I could truly eat an entire order myself!) My other favorite things to get here are the lentil soup, dolmas and atomic falafel wrap. Everything is pretty cheap and orders are ready really fast. 10/10 cannot recommend enough.

Ordered thru Grub Hub. Part of the order was missing ( Baklava). The lamb chops were so over cooked-burnt the bone was brittle. Lamb chops should be medium rare.

I've been to the Middle East before (Levant area) and this place is about as close as you're going to get in Louisville for Arab-style street food. Excellent prices as well. Only problem is that it smells awful right when you walk in, but that might be more of a sewer problem than anything they did.

Always amazing every time! Their atomic falafel wrap and hummus are my go-to order, but their gyro plate is also a good choice. This is one of the best places in town to go for a quick, affordable, satisfying meal.

These guys have the best falafel we’ve ever had. We liked their food so much we had them cater a party we were hosting. Everyone loved the food, it’s very reasonably priced and everything was ready on time, hot and fresh. I highly recommend.
