Great dinner for 5 at classic Louisville Bardstown road location. I think reasonably priced too our tab included bar drinks and a nice bottle of red wine. I enjoyed very nicely cooked grilled salmon, wasabi potent to my liking ( if you have a wasabi limit, mention that to your server so they can dial it back for you ) something for everyone as chicken livers salad, burger, chicken piccata also enjoyed at our table. Sever Marty could not be more helpful knowledgeable entertaining. Well done Uptown! Hope to be back again soon

My family has come here for all my life. I moved away and still crave my favorites- linguini and sesame chicken, shrimp bisque, fussili w shrimp, stir fry. Never had a bad meal. Lovely patio to enjoy the weather. Locally owned and loved by the community so much that it was kept open when the original owner was ready to retire.

We've been dining here for well over 20-25 years and it's always been a "go to" for us as a casual option. However, due to the sharply increased menu prices, it will now only be a very rare occasion that we go back possibly to celebrate a big occasion. The service was amazing as always!

My husband and I usually don't do Valentines, but I saw where Uptown Cafe had reservations available! It was perfect! Everything, the food, the service, the ambience l! One of our favorite restaurants!

My last two times visiting I was disappointed. The shrimp bisque was too thick and very little shrimp. Also, my $17 (A one glass Chardonnay, at the bartender's recommendation) was awful. Used to love this place.

Went for lunch with friends on a Saturday. Everyone got something different and everyone raved about their choices. Delicious food and friendly, attentive service. After several disappointing experiences at other local places that “used to be good”, this was a breath of fresh air. We will definitely be back.

Took my family here to eat, 2 of us had the Jagersnizel and one had the trout, staff was Excellent as was the service. Place had valet parking which was nice on a very cold evening. Their bread on the table was excellent, so good that we asked for another. Only complaint is could think of was we all thought it was cold inside and the heat needed to be turned up. All of us kept our jackets on it was that bad. Other than that was a great experience and will definitely be back.
Our server, Ashley, was excellent! Uptown food and service are always consistently good. I joined a couple of former co-workers to catch up on things, so it's a great place that is not noisy to talk. I have been coming here for many years!

The Uptown is in my neighborhood, so it's very convenient. But the people and food are what makes it a five star establishment.

Food and drinks are delicious! Their cocktails are unique. Great Service. Not necessarily kid friendly as they don't have a kid's menu. But you can ask them to make something off menu using the ingredients they have on hand. They are accommodating. We'll be back again.
Had an incredible experience there today with a party of 25 after my moms funeral. The server and the manager executed flawlessly. They were kind, fun and made a really rough day really calm for us. The space it perfect , menu has something for everyone. I will never forget their hospitality
