Another fabulous dinner! Service and food was perfect. Love that they box your leftovers and you pick up at the hostess desk. Parking on Frankfort Avenue is difficult, so we love their valet parking.

Overall a very good dinner. For my entree I ordered 2 appetizer. I really liked the scallops, the rollatini with eggplant and ricotta was just ok. Everybody else in the party loved their fooe.

Disappointed

Most likely the best buffet in the city. Great food and great service. Fantastic value. Such a pleasure experience our family was impressed we are making reservations for eight for Mother's Day.

I used to frequently eat here, but it's been a while. Last night, we went here for our weekly date night. Hubby had never been.We probably won't go back. We usually like Bourbons Bistro across the street and for same price point drinks, food and atmosphere are much better.Band was playing, and they were awesome. The atmosphere was nice. The waiter treated us in an awkward manner but was chummy and more attentive to other tables.I ordered a veal, and he ordered steak that was on special cooked medium. Ribeye was tough and overcooked. Chocolate cake was amazing... Best thing we had. Old fashioneds weren't consistent. We ordered 2 of same but each were different and almost like ingredient missing.Meal for 2 without salad or appetitizers, 2 drinks and a chocolate cake to share was about $200. Just for reference for those curious. Not complaining on price or saying I expected it to be less or more.Kid-friendliness: Not a place I've ever seen childrenWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp

This was our first-time dining with Volare, and we waited too long. After meeting our charming server Taylor, we began with a what turned out to be generous pours of Johhny Walker Black. For the appetizers, the Chefs catch of the day were blue points on the half shell which are my all-time favorites. These were possibly the best I have ever had. My partner ordered the Rotollini di Melazane as eggplant is a big favorite for him. One of the best moments for me is seeing his eyes light up when he takes his first bight of something delicious and yes, they did. Next up, two glasses of Routestock Pinot Noir...excellent. For our entrées, Veal Limone for me which was perfectly prepared to order. For my partner, Spaghetti Aragosta crowned with a beautiful lobster tail which got yet another big happy nod. Did I mention the valet parking? With the exception of the small table where we were seated, we loved the whole experience including the upper-level area where we were seated. In all the best ways, I was reminded of the classic, authentic Italian restaurants in Pittsburgh where I grew up. We are happily adding this excellent eatery to our rotation. We already have our larger table request scouted out. Bravissime and Bravissimi team Volare!

Overall, it was decent but not great for price point. I had veal and husband ordered the steak on special cooked medium. Ribeye was overcooked and tough. Waiter's personality was lackluster. He made it awkward and was not as friendly with us as the table in front of and behind us. Old fashioneds were $16 each but tasted off. Chocolate cake was amazing. Band performing was great. Probably won't ever come back. Our usual is Bourbon's Bistro across the street. So much better all around in every way. Especially the steak and drinks...and for around same price point. Meal for two with one dessert, one beverage and no appetizers or salads was about $200.

Fantastic experience once again. We tried the chef's special appetizer and a great Italian wine to start. Our entrees were amazing and dessert was delicious! Great service even when they are busy.

You can't go wrong with the Sea Bass! If they have it on special, get it! On top of that, the Crème brûlée was some of the best I've had! We'll be back soon to try some new dishes soon!

We went to a dinner with my wife and my 8 year old boy Sunday at Volare restaurant. The food is nothing special and the portions are small for the money you pay,but i wouldn't write a bad review about that. The problem was the waitress charged my credit card $10 more tip than i left her.The bill was $135 and i left her $25 tip and rounded the bill to $160,...that's about %20 tip,but nooo it wasn't enough for her and she charged my credit card $170 wich is $35 tip. This is totally not acceptable, you don't do that, this is stealing and i didn't see anywhere on the menu to say 26% tip required. So that was our first and last time visiting Volare restaurant.

Our favorite for a special date night. Great service and menu. Ask for the bread! The garlic oil is incredible. You can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu. We used Volare for our rehearsal dinner and couldn’t have been happier.

A fantastic find! Great service that is friendly and attentive in all the right ways. Food was delicious, fresh, and well prepared! Dessert and drinks were amazing! Very beautiful ambiance inside with Italian artwork all over. Highly recommend this place!

The ambience was nice. We ordered the ribeye, medium rare. It came out rare. We sent it back and I'm fairly certain it was microwaved. We also ordered the duck which was very tough, inedible. The risotto was delicious and the polenta was also very good. We got the chocolate cake which was good, but served very cold. Overall, not great and certainly not worth the $$$.
