We were in Louisville the first week in April! We ventured out one morning to Wild Eggs… it did not disappoint! Food & service were both super good! We had the steak and egg omelette & the surfer girl omelette!

We had breakfast here today and other than them being very busy the food was excellent and the service was great. We had the the Steak Benni and Kelseys KY Brown. Both were perfectly cooked. Would definitely go again.

I was visiting Louisville for the Under Armour volleyball tournament. I went to Wild Eggs for breakfast since they opened at 6:30a and got their at 6:45a. I ordered the strawberry tall cakes. It was stack of 5-6 pancakes with plenty of strawberries and compost. The reason for 4 stars is I like my pancakes a little more brown. It has plenty of seats and I didn’t get the name of my server. He was a very nice guy, and since I was short on time, was quick to check me out. It’s convenient in Downtown and a short walk. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I experienced a deceptive upsell which I’m not happy about. We ordered two Mad Platters. Our waitress told us the options but slyly included fruit and waffles which were not actually options but extras, which we ordered and were billed for.Whether this was by intent or omission, the restaurant should have taken it off the bill, which they refused to do.Avoid this dishonest business.

We ordered food online for carryout. When we arrived the food was not ready. Apparently there was only one host in schedule and he disappeared for 15 minutes to seat a table and fix our order (which we didn't know until another patron went to see why he hadn't come back from seating a table). People were coming in with reservations, but no one was there to greet them. You can't even see the dining area from the entrance. Eventually a server came out to help. When our food arrived, we did not receive our whole order. I had to go back to ask for our missing drink and we found out later we were still missing an order of pancakes. For the price, the experience was over rated and disappointing. My husband said he only had 1 shrimp in his omelet and his strawberry lemonade wasn't very good. I tried to call, but no one answered the phone. I will probably not be going back.

The food and service were great. We had an hour to kill, and they were ok with us hanging out.

When I read the reviews in advance, I thought I might be waiting a long time. However, we didn't wait long and were pleasantly surprised by the quick service once we ordered our food. I would recommend this location over other Wild Eggs locations because of the excellent atmosphere and delicious food.

Ate here twice during our vacation because we couldn’t try them just once. The food was outstanding both times. Our first meal was during an off time so we were sat quickly, served quickly and were in and out in under 20min.The second meal was more during a peak time and service was more disorganized and we waited for every step of the process from seating to drinks to food and then waiting for silverware after our food sat in front of us for 5 minutes. It was frustrating but still worth the wait for the fantastic food. The Bloody Mary’s were good both with and without alcohol. The coffee was plentiful and smooth.Unique food items and nothing is bad. The Border Benedict was by far the favorite.

Good food but if you get delivery you'll never see your coffee if you order it.
