“This 3rd generation donut shop and bakery is no frills and simple thrills. If your looking for the classics cooked right you have come to the right place. Open at 3 a.m. this O.G. Donut shop does it right. Since the loss of Bonomini Bakery in Northside, the Cookie Jar Bakery is now the best donut shop in Cincinnati IMHO.“
“The staff here are super nice and welcoming even late at night. After trying different locations across Ohio, I would say this has been our favourite. Ella and her colleague did a very good job serving us Ice cream today with a smile and friendly attitude! Thank you!“
“A cute little coffee shop! The barista was very sweet and helpful. If you're picky about your oat milk like I am, they use Oatly (a MAJOR plus for me!)I only knocked off a star because it was a bit expensive for what it is. I think my small iced oat milk latte was just shy of $7 not including tip. It was still a good cup of coffee though!“
“Golden Hands Bakery is filled with masterpieces of deliciousness. Ron and I stopped in today for an Opening Day Donut for a home run review! My Apple fritter was crispy on the outside and moist and power packed with cinnamon and apples on the inside. Ron’s sticky bun was sticky and Carmel coated with pecans and cinnamon. Beyond amazing morning experience ?“
“Came here with a friend who frequents this place and I'm pretty impressed. We lined up on Easter at opening and they already had a line out the door, even in the light drizzle. The line stayed that way over the next hour that we hung out there. They do sell out of items so it's best to get there as early as you can! I'm more of a sweet tooth when it comes to baked goods, but the everything bagel croissant is a must-have here. The staff heat it before serving, and it's truly the best of both worlds - the butteriness and flakiness of a croissant, with the garlic scallion seasme flavors of an everything bagel. The raspberry almond croissant is also delicious, a good balance of tart and nutty. The salty chocolate chip cookie was also good - large chocolate chunks throughout. The vegan matcha brownie was an adventurous pick; I'm usually iffy about vegan baked goods, and this one had a texture closer to a fudge than to a brownie. I liked the chocolate and mint combo but couldn't get a hint of matcha. Similarly, the raspberry matcha doodle had plenty of raspberry but 0 matcha. Overall, the limited edition matcha flavored items fell flat, but the goods off the regular menu were great and reasonably priced. The space itself is bright, large enough to seat a few small groups, and nice to hang out in. Staff are also helpful and friendly. Check this place out and stick to their bestsellers, and you'll be in carb heaven.“
“Shana’s Sweet Treats set up a little shop at Bethesda North and it was delicious. Her chocolate cake was very moist and excellent tasting. The chocolate chip cookie was so big and had a chocolate chip in every part of the cookie. The only thing missing was a big glass of milk.“
“The food was all delicious - including our schnitzel sandwich + side of kasespatzel, pretzel + beer cheese, and Hawaiian Flammkuchen. Our 6 month old sends compliments to the owner and chef for being so helpful for her to have some plain cooked carrots! Service was incredible and friendly and we definitely will need to return!“
“Cincinnati hit the jackpot with Boosalis Baking! I used to jet off to Paris for work, trying every croissant spot there, thinking nothing could match up back home. But Boosalis proved me wrong in the best way!Their chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) is the real deal. Seriously, it gives the famous spots in Paris a run for their money. And don't even get me started on their plain croissant—it's a close second to my favorite in Paris, Ble Sucre. Now, I can get my croissant fix without the long flight. Big thanks to the Boosalis team for bringing a slice of Paris to Cincinnati!“
“Great cinnamon rolls. You can chose your own amount of icing (I would recommend mini scoop). Even though I don’t like cinnamon, these rolls were delicious. However, prepare for a small sugar shock… couldn’t finish, but the first bites were great!“
“Miss my hometown downtown. Jennifer has Celiacs.. So happy to find this place which is totally gluten-free. The folks behind the counter are pleasant and knowledgeable. The establishment is clean, fresh, and inviting. Food is delicious! FULL flavor. Took a big box to take home“
“Needless to say, these are a hit!! These are the PERFECT treats for business/customer purposes. The cookies look outstanding and they taste even better. The team at Little Flour is able to do any logo you wish on the cookies. They’re able to individually wrap them 2 different ways or keep them as is, laying on a tray. The staff is always friendly, the orders are always timely and our office uses them quite often for cookie orders as such…and we will continue to spread the word!“
“Cafe Mochiko left us thoroughly impressed during our visit from out of town. We dined there twice over a weekend, once for dinner and once for morning pastries, and we were blown away both times. During dinner, we enjoyed a variety of appetizers, including the savory and fragrant Mochi Mochi Panic, Karaage, and Kabocha Raisu, all of which were hits. For the entree, we tried The Ohio from their rotating menu, which featured a rich pork and fish broth with tender sous vide pork and chewy noodles—an absolute delight. On our second visit, we stopped by for pastries on a Sunday. Despite about 15-minutes wait in line, the pastries were well worth it. We tried out a variety of their signature pastries, including the Ube Croissant and Genmaicha Melonpan, all of which were so well-made and delicious.Overall, Cafe Mochiko is an exceptional Asian-inspired bakery and Japanese restaurant. While they don't take reservations and may involve a wait, it's well worth the visit. We are so thrilled to have visited this gem in Cincinnati!“
“If you are a big fan of Greek dining then you will not be disappointed. The food was delicious and authentic. We had the fried Feta, which was a bit spicy (red pepper flakes) but the sweet honey did a nice job balancing it out. We also had the Tzatziki with pita and it was delicious. Our entrees were the Moussaka & Kotopoulo Souvlaki. Moussaka was very rich in flavor and it will fill you up. The Kotopoulo (chicken kabob) and the rice was very good. Finally we wrapped it up with the Baklava and it was presented nicely in 3 pieces. It was very good. A very nice evening before heading over to the FCC game!“
“Today I had the pleasure of sampling three items. I had the Pound Cake, Best Brownie and Funfetti Mini Cake. The Pound Cake had a velvety strawberry icing which was perfectly balanced with, flavor and compliments the cake well! Now….that Pound Cake, was out of this world! As difficult as it is for me to admit, it is the best Pound Cake I’ve ever had, (Mama and Grandma I apologize). It’s so moist, buttery and flavorful. The Best Brownie is appropriately named. Typically I’m not a fan of brownies. But this one was not dry or too thick. It has a good texture and mouth feel. The flavor was spot on and the sprinkles are a nice touch for visual appeal. The Funfetti Mini Cake did not disappoint! The icing and sprinkles were nostalgic. Took me right back to childhood memories of a delicious birthday cake. The cake was moist and certainly homemade. No box mix can come close to the flavor and texture. For all pasty dessert lovers. I highly recommend going right to Maya’s Bakes and treat yourself to some excellent cakes, cookies and brownies.“
“i never leave reviews on places, but i genuinely loved it so much that i had to. the environment was so calm and welcoming and very cozy. the employees were SO nice, and on top of that, i had easily the best matcha latte i’ve ever had. highly recommend this place for a chill hangout or to get some work done :)“
“What a gem of a donut shop! The shop is really cute, tucked into a quiet corner of Norwood. I was thrilled to choose 12 varieties today and my coworkers loved every one of them. I had the citrus marmalade, so tangy and unusual, and the marmalade is made in house! The chefs father was manning the counter and he was really kind and knowledgeable. They have monthly special flavors, which are very unusual and delicious. Highly recommend! I’m looking forward to becoming a regular customer!“
“Been coming for years! I was at the shop next door and a woman that had driven all the way from Indiana to get cupcakes for an event saw me and she asked me if I had ever tried one - I told her no and she went back in and got me a strawberry cupcake - I've been hooked ever since. The cupcakes are literally out of this world good. Today I came back and tried the baklava and cannolis- amazing! Best I've ever had! I want to try every item they have... I probably will“
“We used Sweets by LaDawn for our wedding in May 2023 and we were extremely happy with the cake. It looked beautiful and tasted great as well. We also have to give her props for making a fantastic gluten free cake for our gluten sensitive guests. She was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. We have used her as well for our birthday cakes and we are always happy.“
“Oishii! Delicious! Came in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this delightful gem. The onigiri and karaage lunch combo was perfect, light and healthy with a side salad. We also tried two cakes, a strawberry creme and matcha roll. Again, light and subtle flavors always leave you with room for one more bite.“
“My wife and I have been stopping in nearly every weekend for the past few months and are never disappointed. We get a loaf of the marvelous sourdough bread and a handful of pastries. We haven't been let down yet, and we don't expect to be anytime soon. Everything is carefully crafted, beautifully presented, and unbelievably delicious. Pre-ordering online is fantastic, but you'll want to grab some extra goodies, so just join the line when you arrive. It moves fast and the reward of wonderful treats is worth it.“
“My friend and I happened upon this gem while on a girls day in Latonia. From the minute we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms. The baristas answered our questions and whipped up the most delicious drinks. The owner introduced herself and showed us around, quickly becoming a friend. We sat for a while on the amazing pink velvet couch and fell in love with this quaint little shop. Before we left, the owner offered to loan out her personal shopping cart (which she decorated for us). It was a memorable day and we will definitely be back!“
“Both the original flavor and the chocolate croissant are delicious, with crispy skin. The small disadvantage is that the flour has no fragrance. The latte is delicious. If you pass by, I will want to buy it. There is a parking lot behind which is very “
“The cake they made was so freaking good…. Not only did it look super pretty, the cake actually tasted so good. It was super moist. And for the price I felt that cake was super big. I also got custom cookies as well and they was great… the bakery will be making all my cakes for all my event and I am recommending them to everyone I know …. “Oh you need a cake? , I know just where to go” lol“
“We stopped in today for coffees and we tried the eclair (divine) and the puff pastry hot dog (delicious). We’re already talking about what we’ll try when we come back. The proprietor was so friendly to use and even brought out a chiffonade for us to try while we waited! Can’t recommend this place enough.Parking: Free parking on the side of the building“
“Awesome place one of the best Italian dining experiences in Cincinnati. If you're seeing something in the bakery on your way in to dine, get it then. Good chance it'll be gone when you come out. It's that goodParking: Popular place during peak dinner hours. Street parking near by“
“I have seen so many posts about Allez Bakery on Instagram and heard fellow Elites talking about them for quite a while now. A few weeks ago, I was downtown for a meeting and when I found myself close to Allez Bakery, I had to stop. I read the reviews before I went in because I wanted to see what the top recs were. It was very clear that sourdough is the thing to NOT miss at Allez Bakery. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. They walked me through the different types of sourdough and eventually sold me a loaf of sourdough rye after I asked an employee which sourdough was the most sour. We then shared a bonding moment over our love for "flavors that punch us in the face." They sliced the bread for me and I ate a piece the moment I was back in my car. It was delicious-- some of the best bread I have ever had. I made turkey reubens with it that week and they were fantastic. The bakery itself is tiny, but so cute and warm and inviting. 100/10 will be back.“
“Hey all, if you're looking for great cookies to cure that sweet tooth, look no further. Davis Cookie Company has something good for the cookie lover. Shakes are delicious! I can't go too often, won't be able to fit my clothes. “
“Love crumbl !! The interior of the store is so cute and inviting, and their staff is always so welcoming and friendly! Cookies are fresh and tasty, never had a bad experience!Parking: The stores are always located in areas with convenient parking!“
“Yes, the line will be long but yes you should wait. It's difficult to choose a favorite. The Danish and the pretzels are marvelous. The scones were delicious. The fresh bread selection is top notch. In our families opinion this is the place at Findlay market to not miss!“
“As regular patrons of the Indian Mouund Cafe, just down the street, we regularly visit Panaderia El Trigal. Even though we almost always visit at the end of the day, the pastries are fresh and flavorful. My wife and I both love the empanadas de pina, the tres leches cake, and the creme horns. If we're lucky, they have some tamal de cerdo (pork tomales) left and we've got a tasty lunch or dinner ahead later in the week. If you're in Norwood, stop by. It's worth it.“
“Doctor's order, cut back on the sweets. Now and again I have to stray away from my diet and have something from "Sugar!" Good cookies, brownies, some cake and more. May need to get a cookie cake for my birthday this year. Better work out. Check out one of, if not the best cookie place in cincy.“
“A quaint bakery that puts out amazing confections! The doughnuts will make you slap the chain doughnut, guys! The pastries are done FRESH, and it shows! Everything they have in the store is homemade and done right! The last time I went there I literally said I can't decide and ordered one of every doughnut and Danish.“
“Not only is this place super cute, the food, drinks, and pastries are delicious. You must stop by here and give this place your business! I has a white chocolate latte, the chilaquiles, and a cheese/strawberry danish. Very impressed by this unassuming little shop.“
“Food: 4.5/5 They have macarons in every color of the rainbow. After trying many flavors, our favorites are the pistachio, birthday cake, and fruity cereal. The pistachio has a great pistachio flavor and is not overly sweet. The birthday cake is strawberry-forward and is excellent if you have a sweet craving. The fruity cereal tastes exactly like fruity pebbles. They have other flavors we enjoy as well, like salted caramel and Madagascar vanilla. They are delicious and so cute! Service: 3.5/5 Since they have the macarons prebaked, service is usually fast. They have other baked goods for sale that I haven't tried. They have cute long boxes they put them in. Atmosphere: 4/5 The storefront is small, with limited seating. The space is mainly filled with baking equipment. It's very clean and has a minimalist aesthetic with pops of color.“
“I’m not a big pastry/doughnut fan, but my family is. Whenever they get some, I’ll try some if they say it’s really good. So I’ve tried a lot of pastries. Most of the time, my reaction is yeah, they’re ok. When I tried North South’s pastries, I can honestly say they’re the best I’ve ever had. By far. 5 stars isn’t enough.“
“Nothing beats Graeter's Ice Cream! We stopped here before a show at Ludlow Garage. It as BUSY! I guess that's no surprise. The line move fast and before I knew it we were enjoying a special seasonal Ice Cream only available dipped into a cup or cone. OMG, so good! This is not our go-to Graeter's, but I'm glad there is one very near Ludlow Garage for a sweet treat before a concert.“
“The staff behind the counter was friendly and happy. The ice cream was as delicious as always - one scoop of butter pecan and one of maple brown butter pecan - don't judge, it's the holidays - was the perfect way to finish off a busy holiday weekend.“
“Reached out about 18 hours in advance to make a last minute Afternoon tea reservation for the next day. They went out of their way to accommodate my last minute party of 5. Incredibly kind owner and staff.Small but efficient team. I'm not an afternoon tea guy, but the ladies I brought were, and they absolutely loved it. They loved that it was a special experience, but was very approachable and inclusive for them. Friendly to kids as well. Can't thank them enough. Highly recommended.“
“Tres Belle made us a beautiful cake for our wedding that was equally as delicious as it was pretty! We also did an assorted dessert bar from Tres Belle which was a huge hit with out guests. You cannot go wrong with any of their treats. They were easy to work with and did not disappoint! Thank you Tres Belle!“
“The cheesecake was amazing! A little tart At First Bite but that's just because I ordered a raspberry cheesecake. Every bite was absolutely amazing. Perfect consistency to a cheesecake. The only thing that was missing was my white chocolate shaving on the top. But that's not even a big deal. I would definitely be interested in trying more of these cheesecakes.“
“One of my favorite coffee shops in Cincy. I used to live right by it so I'd go just about every day. I've gotten to know the staff quite well over the years and they are all super nice and excellent baristas. Highly recommend buying their coffee beans in bulk if you like to make coffee at home too.“
“Gotta love that this Servatti Pastry Shop is close to home. It took me a while to stop in, but once I did, I was very glad. I tried a few pastries, which were definitely tasty. The thing that keeps me coming back, however, is the pretzels and the beer and other cheese dips. The pretzels are great for a get together. Get a dozen and have them sliced. Perfect! If you're buying just for the family, or in our case, just for two, I recommend getting six pretzels. They are SO perfect when they are fresh, but they do not stay fresh long so plan accordingly. Oddly enough there are some amazing pastry shops in the West side so Servatti's isn't my go to for pastries, but their pretzels can't be beat. I'm craving them as a write!“
“Love this place. Our code wasn't working and the worker (I think the owner) was able to figure it out and got our order in. We have had the almond croissant, chocolate chip cookies, whole wheat sourdough, original sourdough, and orange cranberry bread. All have been excellent and we are so glad to have a local bakery. Thank you!!“
“We were AMAZED at how elegant and unique our wedding cake turned out. Stephanie did not shy away from the challenge of incorporating four flavors into our wedding cake. Her design was absolutely stunning. We received SO MANY compliments on the taste as well. Thank you NHC Bakery! <3“
“Delicious bakery in downtown Cincinnati not far from the convention center. Plenty of options from donuts, croissants, danishes, cakes, hot dog buns, curry croquettes, and more. There were so many options that I had a hard time figuring out what to pick the first time that I went back again while I was in town. There was also plenty of coffee options too. Can't wait to go back!“
“How did I not know this place was here? Seriously everything you could want from a smoothie spot. Focus on nutrition and health, with great prices. Come visit. Start your day with one of their smoothies and you won't regret it. Lol. I promise this is not a paid or sponsored review. I'm just blown away by the service I received and how I didn't know this place was so close to my house.“
“What a gem!! Wonderful eclairs, croissants and danish that transported me back to Europe. Can't wait to return and try some of the cream puffs. Special shout out for the pistachio croissants. Delicious, full of flavor and absolutely ginormous. Well worth the drive from Indiana to get the best pastries in the tri state area!!! Service is fantastic and the call ahead ordering is a big plus.“
“Nice sandwich shop 700 feet from the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. Decent Cuban Sandwich. A good alternative to the hotel restaurants next door. Service is self-serve, with pick-up at sandwich counter, though you're encouraged to tip at checkout. You can take your food out or enjoy it at a table. A good option next to the Convention Center, though there are several full service restaurants 3-6 blocks down the street from the Convention Center.“
“Excellent Cincinnati bakery. Huge selection of cookies, doughnuts, cakes and pies. Large selection of special occasion cakes and cookies. The lady that waited on me was involved with a task when I entered, yet she greeted me, offered assistance and rang my order. I think her name was Glenda and was a pleasant chapter in my life today.“
“I had the privilege and joy of ordering from this wonderful bakery/cakery from Ubereats and lemmmmmmeeee tellll youuuu!Y’all need to run to this placeNot walkRunnnnn!I’ve been living in Cincinnati for about 6 years now and have been to numerous bakeries in the area that mostly left my sweet tooth unsatisfied , I believe only Sweets by LaDawn is the only place that made my tastebuds happy and do a little dance and now Cora’s is right up there with her !Where to begin , the chocolate chip cookies I had were HUGE and soooooo soft and filled to the brim with chocolate chips it’s like THE ultimate chocolate chip cookie that will make your eyes roll to the back of your head it’s THAT good !Then there’s her Brownies ! Now lemmeeeeeee TELL you ! I am picky picky picky about brownies , the only ones I’ve come across that are even half decent in the area are the ones from Fresh Market and those are so mid compared to Cora’s Cakery ! These brownies from Cora’s are so big and huge and sooooo soft and chewy it’s chocolate heaven that will melt in your mouth ! Best brownie I’ve ever had probably in my whole entire life !Can you tell I’m a fan yet ? lol !
