Cool neighborhood bar with that local atmosphere. Reminds me of Kelsey's Bar on All in the Family. Stop in for a drink and maybe Archie and Edith will be there. Street parking.....

Have been here several times and great atmosphere and area. But, tonight took two friends who haven’t been to Jerry’s Jug House, and it was incredibly rude service. Embarrassing. Place opened at 4:00, we walked in at 3:56 (door not locked). Both employees sighed, and we said, “oh, are you not open yet? We can go back out.” The woman said, “ I guess we are now”. We said we would just hang out, no hurry, and we were told they weren’t ready and had too much to do. Still, no one said anything or said, “do you mind hanging out or waiting a few minutes”. It was so awkward, we left and went to Obryon’s, which was great. Too bad, because there were a bunch of people Lined up outside, all whom were too afraid to go in because the staff were so rude. (Other people went in and got scolded too- at 3:57). Don’t open the door if you’re ready to take peoples’ money and be respectful.

Top tip - if you want a casual beer or cocktail, or indeed great glass of wine - head to Jerrys. The girls behind the bar that day were great !! very friendly and we had a great chat, although I understand they were only temporary. The place is awesome but small. expect a bit of nudging in busier times at the bar. the beer was cold. the cocktails were great (if a bit sugary) and they had a great organic/natural wine list. we had the arepas (3) 2 beef one chicken - and we left the topping selection to the lady who was cooking them (from scratch) they were great. Add to this great decor - kinda mid century modern, and you have great little bar !!
