I had no idea there were still restaurants that you could smoke inside at!! Totally disgusting. Service here was absolutely terrible. Only time we talked to our hostess was when she took our order there was no chance we would get refills or more napkins. Broccoli cheddar soup was water with a couple pieces of broccoli. Waited over an hour to get a cup of soup.

If I could give a zero I would. This is my first time ordering and I used one of the ordering apps. I had placed an order for three burgers and three fries. The restaurant made a mistake and only made one burger and one order of fries. The driver asked them if they would make the order correctly and they were rude to her and told her no. I also called myself And asked them if they could possibly correct the error and she told me absolutely not she was not going to fix it and it is not her problem and said that I needed to contact the ordering app if I had something to complain about. I will never order from there again nor will I visit that location. Not only was it unprofessional the way she talked to the driver and myself but refusing to correct their error and make the correct order is beyond me.

I have been dining at Pepper Pod for literally 40 years. It's a staple. I hadn't been for a while but was glad to have stopped by recently. Still a great place. It's not 5-Star cuisine as you can imagine. However, it's still one of my favorite spots. The Maxi Club is my favorite.

The food was bland and the coffee was weak. Multiple people were angry at how long basic service was taking (two servers for the entire restaurant, no menus given for awhile, forgotten silverware, having to flag someone down for anything). Everything was kinda dirty. Don't go to the bathroom there.

Be prepared to smell like smoke! ? The second we sat down, a couple sitting in the booth next to us lit up like it was 1970, ashtray and all.We asked our server if there was a non-smoking section, but was told "We had to close it..." for some vague reason. Not what we were hoping to hear.There was literally nowhere else to sit, so we were quite close to walking out without ordering anything at all, but we (reluctantly) requested some pancakes.The pancakes came quickly. While they tasted pretty good, we consumed them like a pair of competitive eaters, eager to escape to some fresh air.I'm a big fan of diners in general, and this place definitely has that old-school diner feel, but allowing smoking in a family restaurant is something that should definitely stay in the past.Unfortunately, won't be going back.

Still smokers in the year 2024. Patrons look like people from a Star Wars bar scene. Must admit the people ordering their breakfast items were pleased...all breakfast items served piping hot. Chili not too good. Don't think the server could have fit another tattoo on her body if she tried. She had enough body rings on her face to hold every towel sold from Bed Bath and Beyond.

I've been there twice in a month with my wife and each time we have gone they have kind of been out of food and there's only one server. I got there three-way but it was more like a two-way because it was extremely very little chili on my three-way and last month when I came at 6:00 at night they were out of Chili and my wife wanted some liver and onions and they were out of it too and this time when we went this time she got a sub sandwich,after that she told the next people that they were out of sandwiches which tells me they don't supply the food that they need all the time because this isn't the first or second time this has happened to my family or friends. The atmosphere here is very nice. Even though but I normally don't give a bad review, I honestly probably won't go back for a long time because they need to straighten out some of their services, like enough food maybe a couple more servers because they used to have at least two servers.
Food is great and prices are cheap! I like that the smoking and non-smoking sections are separated well. Definitely a great business to support!

Don't need to mention the smoking as that topic has been mentioned a lot. Still unbelievable though in the year 2024 people smoke in public. Smokers haven't changed much over the years, still selfish and oblivious to others being able to breath fresh air. The clients in this place look like a scene from the Mickey Rourke movie Barfly or perhaps the bar scene in a Star Wars movie. Stopped in as I never had their chili and this week is Cincinnati Chili Week! Chili not too good as possibly food service. The cheese tasted freshly grated, however. Knocked this one off the old bucket list!

Never go into this location. I thought it was a law to not smoke inside restaurants, but if it is, they are not complying. Ashtrays everywhere, the place wreaked of smoke. I left immediately.
