Having lived in Newport I had to visit while working on a project in KY- food just as awesome as it was over 20 years ago when I moved north. This is the place if you're into classical Italian food. They're very accommodating, prices seem almost low for the quality of food they serve. Very good value for money spent. Be sure to take a stroll around beautiful Newport after dinner- you'll enjoy seeing all the restored Victorian homes- there's NO WHERE ELSE LIKE NEWPORT! Wish I had stayed

Went out for my birthday dinner tonight. Our server (Kailee) was wonderful and came back often to check on us. The butter for the bread was delicious. We got the toasted cheese ravioli for an appetizer. I would have liked a little more crunch but it was good! Their minestrone soup is delicious. I got the San Luci and he got the Chicken Milanese, both of these dishes were so refreshing and cooked well. Huge portions and plenty to take home. We shared a slice of the Italian cream cake. Everything was delicious and honestly this has been the best meal we've had in a while.

Our server was great and accommodating. I have to agree with another reviewer however that this establishment is not authentic Italian by any means. I would only recommend for the ambiance and possibly apps. Food was lack luster at best.

First time dining here with a friend that has eaten there nearly a hundred times over the decades. The place was busy on a Sunday before 5pm. The waiter, Chris, took outstanding care of us. He was extremely personable and attentive. The Chicken Alfredo was the best I’d ever had! The atmosphere made me feel like family. I can’t recommend the place enough. You will not be disappointed!

Super cute, old-style Italian restaurant. Kinda crowded with tables and loud, but we had a good dinner. I was in the mood for a big plate of pasta, and wasn't disappointed with the chicken alfredo, though I asked for some blackening seasoning to be sprinkled on top. Our server asked if I wanted the chicken blackened and I said yes, but when it came out, it didn't seem very blackened, so she voluntarily went and got me a cup of seasoning and that really helped the dish. I've maybe been to better Italian restaurants but it's got a great history and atmosphere and I'd definitely come back.
They took excellent care of my group of 13. Sat us quickly and kept the drinks and bread coming until the food was ready.

Had dinner on St Patrick's Day! Restaurant was crowded. Dinner was slow to arrive but our waiter warned us that the kitchen was overwhelmed with Door Dash orders which they finally cut off! Our food was delicious. Loved the risotto balls appetizer, the sampler, and the Ronaldo pasta dish. Our waiter Chris was fantastic, entertaining and attentive despite the food glitches. We will return and hopefully have Chris again!Parking: Found a handicap spot easily in Pompilios lot. Could be more difficult as restaurant got busier.

When you need some really good red sauce this is the place! Wonderful food all around. You must try their sausage and the marinara. A must have!!!!!!
