We're always looking for a new coffee place and this one has a different vibe than most. Inside a bike shop, there's plenty to look at while you wait, but there's only a few seats. It's best suited for a party of two or less. They sell North South Baking pastries, so you can't lose. They offer waffles that look delicious, but haven't tried them yet.

Very weird vibes. I came in with my girlfriend in a Sunday morning and there was only 3 people there and no one acknowledged us even after we sat at the bar for 10 minutes. We then left, also to no acknowledgment.

Possible owner/manager using loud foul language in store when talking to other employees and have rude looks to customers. Coffee was ok.

I have business meetings over coffee. After a terrible experience at a coffee shop on Monmouth, Trailhead became an option. What a great place. Sure there’s the sidewalk window, it’s the cozy indoor seats that make it perfect for businessThe great coffee and friendly folks means it’s a staple.

One of the best lattes I've ever had! The croissants were amazing, and they were super patient with my two-year-old who was not so patient waiting for that croissant!

Super small spot inside a bicycle place. Only one barista. Coffee was so so. Not a great place to chill with your coffee. It's more of a grab-n-go coffee shop.

Great coffee, and the blueberry jam cruffin I got was delicious. They have a few small patio tables in the front for outdoor seating as well.

The attention to detail by the barista to the equipment and to the quality of the coffee being made makes this an amazing stop if you're looking for a good coffee. That fact that it's at Northern Kentucky's premier bicycle outfitter is like beautiful latte art.Trailhead has become a treat that I offer myself when I want a consistently excellent experience with a coffee beverage.

I moved to northern kentucky a few months ago and this quickly became one of my top spots. It is fittingly located inside the bike shop. Always a good coffee. You can usually park pretty easily in the front. If not, head to the old builder's surplus parking lot.

Love this gem of Newport. The baristas, Elliot & Jane are a delight and there’s nothing better than sitting at the outdoor coffee bar on a sunny day!

I got a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a 16oz iced Carmel macchiato. The 16oz is their large witch for me was great and the breakfast sandwich was on a sesame seed croissant and it was very delicious, they also have a window where you can sit and eat, order food and your drinks and just chill. I enjoyed the big window the most. Trailhead is apart of the bike shop and if you ride your bike up to the window and order like a drive-thru they will give you 25% off your order. Trailhead is on the side of the building so if you're looking for it go down 7th Street and right after the light you will see the window. Enjoy!!!!!!
