“My fiancé and I always come back to this Bruster’s location for the BEST ice cream! It is THE place to go for ice cream in Nicholasville.Firstly, their flavours are all fresh, ever-changing and delicious! My favourite flavour of theirs by far is their Cotton Candy Explosion, which comes with popping candy. It changes colour throughout the year, but is always consistently delectable! Their M&M mixer is also quite the treat. For Valentine’s Day, I got a waffle cone (which was pink!) with my favourite cotton candy flavour, and tried their limited edition White Raspberry Truffle ice cream on top. I wish it was available all year ‘round! My fiancé tried their Strawberry Shortcake Bowl, and was blown away by it! Delicious strawberry shortcake-flavoured ice cream, real strawberries and jam, all topped off with a mountain of whipped cream and a cherry. He will definitely be ordering that again! The staff here are also so friendly. We saw one of the servers put the extra big mountain of whipped cream on top of the Strawberry Shortcake Bowl we ordered, and the care she put into its presentation was lovely to see!We will continue to come back here for some of the best ice cream around, and we can’t wait to see what new flavours arrive!Parking: There is lots of free parking both directly in front of the ice cream shop and around the area it is located in.Kid-friendliness: Ice cream! Need I say more?“
“I get ice cream here A LOT and the manager Amanda is the absolute best! She is extremely accommodating and always goes above and beyond! Plus if she makes my blizzard I know it's going to be AWESOME!! If you read this, thank you for your kindness in this ugly world ?❤️ This woman is definitely an asset to your establishment!“
“All the people there are very nice. Their food is always hot. They always have it out to you as soon as possible.Parking: There’s at least eight parking spots openedKid-friendliness: Everyone of the workers there are kind they try to fix everything that they canWheelchair accessibility: The doors open wide enough for wheelchair. The counter is low enough for you to see if you’re in a wheelchair. The tables are wheelchair accessibility.“
“My fiancé took me here to have my first Sonic experience! This location was great in terms of both food and service. The food came out fast and hot. We got hotdogs, Cherry Limeades to drink, and I got a M&M mixer for dessert. Everything was great! The guy taking our order and who brought our food out to us was also kind, helpful and prompt. This Sonic location is a great place for quick bite!Parking: The whole Sonic concept is that you park in one of their parking spots and each one has a kiosk which you order from. They bring out your food once your order is confirmed. So the parking lot is also your where everyone eats in their cars!Kid-friendliness: Burgers, fries, the usually American fair that kids love!Wheelchair accessibility: They bring your order out to your car, so it is very accessible.“
“I must say for as busy as they were with Drive Thru wrapped around the building and just about every slot/screen ordering taken , I got my food very quickly not even 5 minutes after I ordered and it was all Hott and fresh.Parking: The space that you pull in is kinda tight if you’re driving a SUV OR OTHER LARGE VEHICLE.“
“I went with my fiancé and his family to this new Andy’s frozen custard location, and it was both tasty and neat! This location is a frozen custard-like diner, as a stand-alone building. They have seating outside of the building, and the windows are purely for ordering. The design of the sign and neon lights everywhere make it quite the spectacle in the night.Inside, you can see the staff hard at work, and the cool factory-styled dispensers full of custard! The staff member who helped me out at the window was so lovely and helpful.I got the James Brownie Jackhammer custard, which is a mix of brownie pieces, vanilla and chocolate custard, and caramel. It was absolutely delicious! This was a lovely first visit to Andy’s and we will definitely be back for more!Parking: There is lots of free parking right next to the outdoor frozen custard shop.Kid-friendliness: Frozen custard and ice cream; kids will love this place!“
“First time ever having a banana split and trying Freshies. It was so wonderful. I cannot have gluten and the ease of ordering directly off their menu was incredibly refreshing. They were out of bananas and one of the workers ran across the lot to buy them just after we ordered. Both workers were very quick and kind, while being busy just after taking our order. Each Ice-cream we ordered was amazing, but the coconut almond one was life changing. Thank you! We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free options!“
“Don’t sleep on this place. We stopped by for the first time yesterday, and will definitely be back!I sampled the blueberry lemon sorbet which is obviously made from real blueberries - you could feel the little bits of fresh blueberries in it.I got Blueberry Cheesecake and Brown Sugar Pretzel. Sometimes the cheesecake can be so rich it overpowers the fruit, and sometimes the fruit can be so sugary sweet it overpowers all the other flavors. This was perfectly balanced - no one flavor overpowered the other. The brown sugar pretzel tasted like the best homemade brown sugar caramel sauce with big pieces of pretzel in it for some salty contrast. My boyfriend got the chocolate chunk brownie with some hot caramel sauce and loved it. The chocolate ice cream was smooth and rich with chunks of soft gooey brownie, and he loved the caramel sauce. We also brought home some pineapple and lime Dole twist (similar to Dole whip) to enjoy today. Can’t wait to introduce other people to it!“
