The location is beautiful and the view is spectacular. Our server was great. The food was terrible. Steak salad was literally a bagged salad dumped with 4 small pieces of steak that was super fatty. Super disappointed in the food. Hoping the restaurant changes its recipes.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu

In town for an S3DA competition. Women at the Blue grass museum recommended this restaurant. It was a Sat. We called ahead to put our name on the list and was told 45 min wait. We waited 2 hours. Presumably because it looked like they didn't have enough staff to fill all the tables (We saw many empty tables while sitting for 2 hrs).Ordered Burger, rueben, brisket sandwich, and fish tacos. Tons of fries came with sandwiches and sandwiches were ok. Fish tacos had a little bit of lettuce instead of slaw and a thin piece of fish. Not worth $15.00. The fried green tomatoes were yummy. The cheese fries didn't have enough cheese or hardly any bacon. The cheese cake wasn't homemade and it was a small piece with a little blueberry sauce. The lava cookie with ice cream was great size & portion surprisingly. I hope things improve for this restaurant.

Great place!! Especially when it is warmer and you can sit outside to watch the river and park.Great selection of food and "local" beers. I use quotes because it is not exactly brewed locally. But, they are delicious pours. Be sure to try a few. You just might be pleasantly surprised.

I had some reservations after reading the reviews but the lower starred reviews did not reflect the experience of our group. I called and they only take reservations for 10 people and above, we were just a party of five. They offered two tasting of their beer. I tasted the cranberry and walnut, both were good. I ordered a flight or dark and lager, and one IPA all were well rounded. Our group did love the chocolate notes in the coffee beer. Appetizers ordered tots with beer cheese and ranch and pretzels with grainy mustard and beer cheese. Both were wonderful. The pretzel is cut into slices, was buttery, salty, soft on the inside and a chewy crust. The beer cheese is bright and flavorful. The grainy mustard was tart, sharp and flavorful. Both complemented the pretzels and tots. Three ordered the kale salad, they were out of strawberries and substituted blueberries, the grilled chicken was left off one salad but was rectified quickly. I ordered the classic with tots and our friend ordered the Waylon burger with brisket, onion rings and BBQ with fries. I tried a bite of the brisket, it was smokey, juicy and tender with a little gristle but not enough to be off putting. My cheddar burger was perfectly cooked and dressed, I love the scallion aoli. Both of us stated we were surprised the tomato tasted like a summer tomato. Our friend said the fries were good. I enjoyed the tots as an appetizer so much I ordered them for dinner too, I just wished I had ordered a sauce but I improvised and dipped them into the drippings from my burger, yummy! We shared the sweet potato beignets, they are dark because they are caramelized, we all loved them. Madison was a good server, attentive and knowledgeable.

It's good. One of the better places in Owensboro. I've heard people say that it's expensive, but they are definitely appropriately priced for what they serve.

I always forget and catch myself doing hese after the fact, I always forget. It was the snow day after, like a few days ago. It wasn't packed, but not busy. I got the wings and celery. My lady got a Beer, a soured beer, not a bad thing and also fried green tomatoes, with beer cheese Mac and cheese. Great food, great service. I'll definitely be back and is on the "You should try them out" catgeory.

Don’t get the chili. It seems like it was made for chili dogs. Beer was good though.

Three stars is generous. So i gave you two, because you don't deserve three. Laminated menus at a place of this price point? In the bread basket of the country ? Should tell you all you need to know. ls this an IHOP or Waffle House? The laminated menu tells you the food here comes from the back of a Sysco truck. Not locally sourced not seasonal... In the farmland of Kentucky? Frozen fries and chicken fingers ? Really ? Pre fab Chicken fingers and wraps with tater tots (or poorly cooked chips) on this kind of build out ? Tater Tots ... Who is your chef ? Ronald McDonald?I asked for suggestions and got "the burger" ?!?! Beyond the "obligatory burger" she had no recommendations. Sad. So all of your food sucks beside the same boring burger that everyone seems to be trying to act is special? Sorry ... it's really not. Especially at $15.You reside in the heartland of the country and this is your menu? Really ? Shame, such a beautiful build out, with an incredible view and you are serving what amounts to boxed frozen fast food. This is my wife's home town and it's a damned shame what they are doing with what i can estimate is someone's multi million dollar investment. The right chef could turn this into a local landmark.... they obviously haven't found that chef. Your menu is hot garbage.Stunning location, great view... shite food for the establishment.

So to be out of all your main protiens is absurd. Basically all they had was chicken, and fish. I had the drunken chicken and well that was subpar. The best thing they had was their tots. If I don't eat the bun you put your chicken sandwich in, there's a problem.

Was excited to try out the Waylon burger. Even though they didnt have brisket. It just didnt seem as monstrous as these pictures show. Tots were great! Wife loved the Drunken Chicken Sandwhich. Best part was Ty our waitress. Very attentive, chatty, and friendly. Overall a good experiance. Will be back to try the beer!Parking: It is at the riverfront. We parked right out front. But during big park functions may have to park and walk

Ambiance inside sucked & very loud. had a cafeteria style feel. Food was run of the mill, nothing special for $. Outdoor seating is nice with a beautiful view but indoor atmosphere & decor very disappointing. Was expecting way more from a prime location on riverfront. One & done.

I haven't had their food yet, so as of yet, I have no comment on it. Their service, atmosphere, and drink menu were outstanding though, and I can't wait to go back!
