Very impressive food variety there. They have kept Chinese food spirit also fit American diet habits. Many sea food dishes. The beef dish was so tender. Have to mention that the services are great, too. The host, waitresses and food delivery personals were so helpful and made you feel like at home.

I can't speak to customers' opinions from years ago having only recently relocated to Owensboro, but my first and recent visit seems to match reasonably with more current reviews. I enjoy Asian food, and buffets. The variety and options appeal to me. My visit for the lunch buffet provided a mixed bag of impressions. Neat and clean, with a pleasant ambiance of cultural connections. Both the hot and sour soup, and the egg drop soup, were very good. Beef was consistently dry and slightly tough, across the board, in all varieties. Chicken was good, tender and tasty, except for the General Tso's chicken, which was also dry and tough, and tasted nothing at all like the traditional dish found elsewhere. Seafood was a mixed bag, some being quite tasty, others tasteless. Lo mien was excellent. Limited available greens were very good. Egg rolls were okay, spring rolls were substandard. Price was fair. buffet servers adequate for their purpose. I departed full, but disappointed. I expected a higher overall level of quality of the food. I suppose I've been spoiled by better Asian buffet restaurants elsewhere.

This place used to be amazing 7years ago, it has significantly gone down hill since. Today my macaroni was like thin watered down noodles with no taste, chewy chicken, cold bland food, and to top it all off i found a long black hair in my favorite dish on the buffet(crab and shrimp veggie mix). After i brought this issue to a waiter, she went over to the buffet, picked out the hair and went on about her day. I was disgusted as i couldnt knowlingly eat something with potentially more hairs, even though it is my favorite dishThe floor was extremly slippery with grease to the point i had to be very cautious as im pregnant.Today i really wanted chinese so i gave it one more chance since last time it was subpar as well, i will not be back here any more. An absolutely outrageous price for this experience, almost 18$ per person. Would give negative stars if i could. My sign should have been the puke i saw in the parking lot before entering... pictured for your unpleasent viewing. I have never had such a bad experience in a restraunt and paid almost 20$ for it, and i had water to drink....
Took my family here for a quick meal I watched one of the ladys come out of the back take food that was on the counter someone had spilled and throw it back in the buffet disgusting!!!!

The only Chinese Buffet left in Owensboro?. There have been some pretty good ones over the years. At New China I love the noodles, crab rangoon, green beans, seafood delight, and the pepper mushrooms. I keep forgetting that i only like one of the chicken items now. The teriyaki chicken is the best. The chicken items that i tried today taste like the meat had gone bad before they cook it. Its like this to me every time i try those items. It could be the cut of meat they are using. Not for sure.... Anyways they still have plenty items i can always rely on and I like it enough to keep going. They also have great dessert items to finish off your meal.

The food was ok what I got to eat of it!!! If you ever sit down and one of their waitresses sits down to eat RUN!!! That woman should never be aloud to eat in public EVER!!! She spit out more than she ate!!! It was so disgusting I couldn’t hardly eat!!! No manners at all very horrible just put your fork down and rum!!!

People review these like they're supposed to be five star restaurants and they're not! It is what it is and this place isn't bad at all. I can't remember the last time I ate at a Chinese buffet, and the food was so hot. I had to let it cool down, but that's exactly what I got when I came here. It was very busy, super packed, and it was easy to see why. The foods not bad at all. For a Chinese buffet, I can promise you that if I am in Owensboro Kentucky again, and I will be, I will definitely eat here.
