Not the tender, juicy-looking pork slices as in their photo, but instead, dry, over-cooked slices that just looked like thick-sliced bacon with shoe-leather consistency. The meaty parts were literally inedible (think tree bark) and the fatty parts were dry and hard. Total waste of $9 except for the lesson learned.

This was my first experience with Shoguns and also my last. We came in at noon on a Sunday and had to wait, which was fine. The manager (I assume) seated us. He mentioned being short staffed while we waited for a table. No biggie..The issue I had was the service. Our waitress seemed to be in a mood as soon as we were seated. She asked us if we wanted to order food before ever asking what we would like to drink. When asked a question about the menu items, she seemed irritated that we weren’t familiar with it. As I started to order, she cut me off and went to the next person without finishing my order. She completely skipped my daughter’s order and I had to wave her down to let her know she did because she was apparently unaware. When we received our drinks, half of them were wrong. (We had multiple families in our party of 10.) After it was all said and done I received my bill, only to find out that I was charged wrong not once, but twice with items I didn’t order. I spent $50+ on lunch to receive the most terrible service I have had in a long while..not to mention a plate of food I didn’t want. I also inquired about the price of the entree. Apparently you only get lunch prices Monday-Friday even though that wasn’t listed on the menu. I did contact this store to speak to the manager and he did seem apologetic. My conversation was merely to make him aware and hopefully a training/coaching moment for said waitress. I hated to even contact him and “be that person.” This pretty much wraps up my experience. Hopefully I don’t sound like a complete Karen with this review.

Went there for my birthday we made a order for food everyone got there's they ate I waited around for mine after 45 minutes and everyone at the table finished there's the server came out and told me they were out of what I ordered and they it wasn't busy at all we went before the dinner rush never go there again your better off going to wasbi better food and service what a disappointment

Ordered a bento box for lunch with steak, a sushi roll and potstickers. Took a while to get to me and when it did it was wrong. It came with chicken, rice and potstickers, my waitress disappeared and even with me asking for her to another waiter it took 10 minutes for her to come back from when she dropped off my food, she acknowledged the issue and had them remake it I asked them to box it all up because I could not sit and wait again, still took another 15 minutes on top of that and nothing was comped and not very apologetic at all. When they took the food back all I heard was laughing from server and chef about the situation.

I will never go back to shogun again. We were regulars there and they lost our business. I was next in line and the guy at the hostess counter asked the two people behind me how many people they had and seated them. I’m assuming it was because I was a woman alone. Completely offended

Service is good, people there are friendly, but quality of how the food is cooked as gone down over the last year or so.
I've never had a bad experience with this Shogun's. The food is delicious, hot, fresh and plentiful for the price. Service is great inside and out. If you opt for the show I promise it won't disappoint. The place is clean including the restrooms. I would highly recommend.

Had a birthday dinner with my family here on a Thursday. What made the experience truly special was our chef, Jonathon! When he greeted the table and started cooking, it was obvious he enjoys what he's doing. While eating with him, we found out he's been with this restaurant for 11 years! And it shows! I can't tell you enough how good the food he prepared was. It's different when someone with a passion for food serves you. Recommending this hibachi grill solely because of him. We will be back again soon and requesting Jonathon!

12/27/23 - According to the manager today, they no longer accept "older" gift cards. No date range was provided. Our card does not show any expiration date. The manager refused to accept our $50 gift card, which is shown in the attached picture. We verified the amount on the card prior to going to this place. The manager did not deny the amount on the card. DONT BUY ANY GIFT CARDS HERE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.
