We really enjoyed our lunch here. We were in town for a Jerry Garcia exhibit and the restaurant was playing the Dead when we walked in, so we knew right away we had picked the right place for lunch! I ordered spanikopita and it was delicious, and my husband ordered a turkey club sandwich, also delicious. We would definitely go back

While I wouldn't call this a vegan friendly establishment, I did very much enjoy the one veggie friendly entree on offer. The waiter was very attentive and let me know that the seasonal veggies were cooked in an herb butter, which wasn't a deal breaker for me (if I can't see the dairy, it's not there lol) The food was delicious and very well seasoned.I would recommend requesting the bourbon sauce for the rice. It was a little dry and bland on its own but with that sauce, absolutely amazing! I asked for a vegan or vegan adjacent sauce and that's what they gave me. It was delicious and I didn't ask any questions. If you're a strict vegan who needs all the ingredients to be 100% vegan, this might not work for you.I also requested a mocktail. While they don't have one on the menu, our waiter graciously concocted a drink just for me. All in all, it was a lovely dining experience and I would return even though there's really only one thing on the menu I can eat.Vegetarian options: There's a few vegetarian items and a single vegan option if you're not to strict and don't ask too many questions.

Great dinning experience: I was in town for a week on business. I ate here 3 days in a row.. the atmosphere is intimate and very friendly. The service is outstanding. When I walked in on day three the waiter from the day before said hello joe to me before I was even seated. With all that being said, it’s hard to say, but the food cooked by the chef there was the absolute best part each day. the food got better and better each day. They have a bar where you could sit and watch him cook dinner. I would pay the price of the dinner, just to watch this chef cook my dinner. My only regret is, I can’t give them six stars!! If I am ever In this part of Kentucky, I’ll be sure to eat dinner there.

This place looks unassuming but WOWZA! Service and food is KILLER!! Mackenzie served the three of us with a smile and a lot of patience. I had, without a doubt, the BEST CLUB SANDWICH IN MY LIFE here yesterday. The bread is soft and the turkey, ham, lettuce and bacon were plentiful without being ridiculous. I forgot to say easy on the mayo and they did it perfectly anyway! It takes a big bite to get it done, but legitimately delicious. Mackenzie offered pickles on the side and said they were spicy. I love spicy!! Those pickles were HOT! hahah. I was wincing and sniffling but Yummy!! My lunch companions had a Caesar salad with a gorgeous piece of salmon on top and the other had a Philly cheesesteak that she downed too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're downtown and need a good meal. Sorry, I usually get better pics but get this sandwich anyway.

This was our first visit, and it will not be our last. This downtown restaurant was excellent in many ways. The menu selection and special were all appealing. I had the pasta carbonara with crake cake, and my wife had the bourbon chicken. Both were delicious. The server was on the ball, friendly, and very helpful. The only downside was that the place is small and has tightly spaced tables and seating. Friday night, this place was packed, and the sign out front read, "reservations only."

Quite the let down. Online it seems to be a high end restaurant, inside it seems a little run down and desperately trying to be fancyThat being said, their lunch menu is weak. My wife and i opted for the same pasta (there were only 3 options) however when i was asked if i wanted a protein i decided to go with shrimp. There was an $8 extra charge for it. So needless to say when i received said pasta and it had 3 small shrimp in it i had to double check what the extra cost was. Pulled our server to the side and asked, she said yes its 8 dollars. I said for 3 shrimp? To which she replied yes as though it's a regular thing.I said whatever and decided i was gonna take the loss, so be it. Pasta was meh. 5/10 not terrible but not good either. Didnt come with any sides like breadsticks and the drinks were $4.50 each.Bill ended up being $40 for 2 small bowls of pasta, 2 drinks, and 3 shrimp. Way overpriced for the quantity and especially the quality.

What a great place to have dinner! I highly recommend you make a reservation if you want to eat here. This place was PACKED by the time we left. A longtime friend and I meet once a year for dinner and we take turns picking a special place to eat. Bistro did not disappoint!! Our server was so helpful to make suggestions. I chose the Sun-dried tomato penne with blackened chicken. It was just delicious. Great place to eat.
