Great waiter, Ben. Although I sat at the bar and overheard way too much. I heard them talking bad about customers, calling them stupid for how they order their food. Heard way too much cussing and heard the n word a few times. Multiple people on their phone, wearing earbuds, and so on. Extremely unprofessional and I would be embarrassed to be their manager. Wouldn’t eat here again unless Ben was my waiter.

Always enjoy stopping in for sushi and conversation. A great place for friends and family to gather around to enjoy a meal. Excellent service and short wait times for the meal.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options and you can always ask for substitutes.Dietary restrictions: As a gluten free (non-allergy) person, I can always find options here.Parking: Parking lot, can be busy but we've always found a spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair access point to the sidewalk. Several wheelchair accessible tables.

Birthday dinner. Our server was kind and attentive. Drinks Sapporo, sweet tea and mountain dew. Dragon roll and seared tuna. The sear on the tuna was perfect and the sesame swirl added a nice depth to the flavor of the tuna. Teriyaki chicken was served as the birthday girl requested, just chicken and noodles. Mahi-Mahi hibachi was excellent; a nicely seared crust and still soft and juicy; the vegetables were cooked perfectly - crisp tender. One of our guests ate spring rolls and she said they were good.We had enough to take home and the leftovers were terrific. Our server let the chefs know we enjoyed our dinner.

I ordered the sunami roll, delicato red, and tuna tataki. All 3 of these dishes include seared fish, it seems whoever the sushi chef was today they don't understand the concept of searing. My tuna tataki was not even close to what it should be. There was no searing, it's just lightly cooked on each side, and each piece is almost a quarter inch thick. This is ridiculous. Next time I'll just by sushi at meijer.

I'm not sure how a Japanese restaurant doesn't have miso soup. The hibachi Chicken was chewy and overcooked.
