Welcoming patrons, friendly staff, good drinks. Would recommend going on Thursday for "steak day/night"...although they're available any day. For a bar, steaks & potato were pretty tasty.

So. There's something about doing simple things extraordinarily well. Like others we stopped based on the limited reviews and owner photos. Unlike others we had other plans. We planned to go to the Freight House. But Atlanta traffic had us arriving 10 minutes before they closed. So we called Driftwood and their kitchen closed later. So we came. We have younger preteen kids. Not allowed inside. But it was nice weather and their outdoor area has bags, seating and really cool well paint d motifs. The bartender tonight was attentive, kind, funny and competent. We ordered two ribeyes, a stir fry and a basic grilled cheese. Everything was great. And. No fault to Freight House-dirt cheap by comparison. For the price it was one of the best ribeyes I've ever eaten. No need for steak sauce. The stir fry was delicious too. Even the simple mac and cheese side of was done great. Food wise they KNOW what they're doing. If I lived here I would eat here regularly and the locals seem to know that. Not a Freight House. Doesn't need to be. This was great. Complaints. Post your menu. Anywhere. Never mind. I did. Stipulate that it's 21+ only inside. We have kids. It was nice weather. But if it wasn't I'd be pissed.

I went to Driftwood for the first time yesterday, Nov 3. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich with a side of mac & cheese. The food arrived shortly after I ordered it. It was hot, large amounts, tasted like homemade or better mac & cheese & Italian beef sandwich should. The lady that served me was incredible: very gracious & helpful. Prices were more than reasonable. I will definitely go back asap!

Seemed like it took forever to get our meals but the food was delicious! If you’re in a hurry or just passing through (like us) and need to get back on the road to your destination then this is probably not the place for you. Or maybe it was just an off day for them? Idk. I will say though you must give them a try if you’re ever in the area again. You have to try the turkey and dressing plate with sweet potatoes…- Oh my word! Mm, mm, mm. Definitely recommend it if you love good comfort food. Our bellies are full and we are two happy campers ?Would have been 5 stars if food was brought out quicker. We waited at least 30 minutes minimum.
