Had been to Max's before and had a great time. Tonight, not so much. Loud, noisy crowded. Service was slow and inattentive. Took forever to get appetizers and even longer for entrees. Totally forgot about our son's drink, even after coming twice to refill waters. Food was fair (not grest) but hot enough to burn your mouth. No warning on heat from the server. A bit bland but overall good. 2 1/2 hours was a bit long for 3 entrees. Either things have changed to the worse since we were last there, or hopefully they were having a bad night. I'll give them awhile before I come back.

Everything was amazing. We ordered the artichoke dip which is heavy on the cream cheese but still amazing if you like cream cheese. Then the Italian Sausage pizza. It's baked on their cracker crust. They don't have the seasoned crackers anymore which I was disappointed but understand why they stopped selling them. So our bartender gave us oil and balsamic dip to dip this airu, fluffy, soft bread to dip in the oil mix. Next we ordered the Greek Chicken which was supposed to be stuffed chicken breast with kalamata olives and I was so excited but it came out with ONE olive in the entire dish. And it was like a deconstructed chicken Greek Chicken because it was breast cut up on top a wilted spinach, white cream delicious white sauce. And lastly we ordered the blackened, grilled tuna on a hot plate with a rare grill. The tuna was buttery soft and cooked to perfection. So even though it wasn't perfect, it still was perfect.Parking: Market Stays packed where you enter to eat so we had to park in the lot which is jammed packedWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair space in parking and going to restaurant as it's downtown. But be cautious because of the brick roads and cobblestone. Restaurant is SUPER tight so I don't see it being wheelchair accessible but I'm sure they accommodate.

Best restaurant in town!! Melt in your mouth spinach artichoke dip with thick pita bread, perfectly crisp brick oven pizza, and the most light mousse like Creme Brule. ? It was the perfect place to have our 25th anniversary dinner!

The service was good but the food was just so-so. The pasta was over cooked, and the pizza was lack luster. I hate leaving such a poor review but it is what it is.

Consistent great food and cocktails. Their wood fired pizza and a classic margarita are a must. Love the dip on the appetizer menu

Very disappointing experience.Sat for over 10 minutes at table without being acknowledged. That immediately kills the vibe for the meal. All the while another server was waiting hand and foot on all the other tables around us.Took another 12 minutes for first drinks from the bar to arrive. They were out of our originally requested drink so we couldn't get that. Upscale restaurants need clear ice for old fashions. Very small old fashioneds. Not enough ice for tea, all melted.Had their "summer menu" still mid Oct with no chili dip.Ribeye Delmonico, very thin, cool. Not hot not cold.Caesar salad served with tomatoes and cucumbers?Chicken gorgonzola literally tasted like cleaner. Pre cubed chicken. Don't be lazy, grill the chicken on the wood fire oven and cut it up.Place not for us. On the level of Applebee's, Logan's, etc.Wasted $165

My wife and I had the Aurora pizza and would recommend it to those who like thin crust pizza. It has an almost cracker like texture and is delicious without being heavy. Extra points for our server. She was excellent. I'm sorry I didn't get her name to give her proper credit. Great atmosphere as well. Will definitely return when visiting Paducah.
