Food was excellent, price was unbeatable, and the service was fantastic. My coffee was never even halfway empty and it was a busy morning. If a place is busy at 6 am on a Saturday you know you're likely in the right place. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite of old-school diner food.
Worth the stop if you are local or just passing through. Delicious food and wonderful staff. They are incredibly friendly and with the grill in the front you can watch them make your meal with care. Definitely will be a stop for me again when passing through Paducah.

We found Mel's Dinner after Kirchhoff's Bakery let us down, and we are so thankful they did! Mel's is a hidden breakfast gem that is crazy affordable and crazy delicious!! The hashbowns were perfectly salted, the biscuits were soft and fluffy; we best fried egg we had ever had, and coffee that hit just the right spot. Thank you, Mel's, for helping us start our trip back home in such an amazing way!!
