Pizza was ok had 6 people ordered a party size pizza they didn't make it as we ordered forgot the sausage took about 40 minutes to get the pizza offered to remake the pizza but we didn't feel like waiting for a new pizza to be made kind of disappointed it looks more like a local drinking place to me might try again next time it

First time experiencing pizza by py the pound great food great experience. Family loved
Stay away from this place unless you don't mind being ignored. I called to place an order and get told hold on one second....I proceed to listen to the background noise and employees joking around for the next 16 minutes. I didn't hang up right away because I figured if I did that it would be a busy tone. But after 16 minutes I finally decided to hang up and try to call back but of course I got the busy tone. My wife went down there to place an order in person and they were out of breadsticks....a pizza place out of dough? Anyway not a big deal but then she was going to put an order in for a pizza and calzone and was told it would be over an hour before the order would be ready. It would have been put in about 35 minutes earlier if they hadn't just forgot about a customer. But they wouldn't put the order in right away because we had to wait our turn apparently. This place is a complete joke and doest care about customer service in the least. Too many other great places to give our business too that actually have the food on their menu available and offer great customer service.

Have spent hundreds of dollars at this establishment. Today I was told to check the pizza before I left(never been told to do before) but I did. It looked good as always. Get home and the bottom of the pizza was burnt. It’s almost like the lady knew something was up with the food. The take out/bartender doesn’t enjoy her job if you’re not filling up on beer and tipping her.

Absolutely worse experience of my life. From the food to the terrible customer service from Mandy her self. I sent $31 on food that so disgusting I almost threw up. Not only did I pay 4.50 extra for literally 8 fries cold so called Gyros without any Taziki sauce. My food was cold and I order A Italian beef that was mediocre and also was an upcharge for cold fries (8) when I called to explain my frustration I was greeted by someone who claimed to be Owner who informed me my food was not nasty because she “looked” at it. She also informed me she doesn’t do refund and suggested I get the food out the trash and come prove to her I didn’t eat it. I was baffled and politely went in my trash grabbed the picked over food and with majority of it still remaining and proceeded to head back to “PASTTIME PIZZA BY THE POUND”. As I enter the building I’m greeted by a rude bartender who then grabbed the bag threw it on the counter and opened it and proceeded to argue and go back and fourth about the poor quality of the food. She walked off started typing in the computer. Handed me a receipt and told me she will only be refunding $13 of my order and told me to never return to her establishment (Knowing it’s one of the worse places to eat in PADUCAH) WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I WOULD. NEVER GO HERE. Not a Family Friendly Environment Especially If You Have Kids.

This is my kind of place. Has great pizza and sandwiches with a cool circular bar. Great people, great food, and a TV to watch your Kentucky wildcats.
We were in town for a show at the Carson and decided to try this place. They were pretty busy but our waitress was very friendly and took great care of us. Would love to go back! Recommend the House Special Pizza if you like supreme toppingsKid-friendliness: Lively atmosphere and LOTS of rock and roll memorabilia on the wall- the kids had fun learning about the different icons represented there :)

Great hometown Pizza Bar. Best pizza I've found in Paducah so far.
We live in Paducah and some of our friends have recommended Pizza By The Pound. Why?? We couldn't figure it out. It took a bit for us to be seated, but it's a small place and it was Friday night so that was expected. When they asked what we wanted to drink, my wife asked if they had any IPA beers. Our waitress seemed as if she had never heard of an IPA and reiterated that they have domestic beers like Bud Light and Michelob Ultra. It took almost an hour after we ordered to get two small pizzas and a calzone, and the calzone had the wrong toppings inside. The waitress asked if she could make it right, but I just decided to share my wife's pizza. The toppings were pretty sparse and the crust had vurtually no flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant could definitely be appealing to certain people, but don't come here if you want flavourful pizza and more than a handful of beer options. We eat at Mellow Mushroom fairly often and wanted to try a local pizza place, but unfortunately we'll be staying away from Pizza By The Pound.

I understand calling to order an hour before close can be risky but we were traveling and got into Paducah around 10 pm so we called to place an order for a small pizza, as we saw really good reviews for this place. The first call had no answer so we called once more and when someone answered they rudely said they were closed. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to trying this place. Might be helpful to update their website hours if they’re going to be closing at different times.
