Recently moved to town and have visited a couple times so far. The beers are delicious. Had some food once and it was good . The staff is friendly and welcoming. I was only disappointed because I am looking for a job and they weren't hiring at the time

Horrible staff, horrible establishment. Rude af. Boycott these hipsters... 0/10. On my THIRD BEER, they kicked me out for "bEiNg ToO dRuNk" and couldn't give a single reason as to why. AFTER I paid their bushtit 5 dollar cover that they tryina milk from Hillbilly Days. My friend *had* had too much to drink, so on my third round, I tried to get a water for him, as well as a POG for myself. Apparently, this was reason enough to deem me unfit to drink (for some reason, ordering a water and a beer together was one toke over the line, Sweet Jesus, according to their mentally handicapped manager, or whatever she was), and they thought it best to threaten to call the police on me. It hurt my feelings more than anything but fr... DO NOT GO HERE. These people do not deserve to be in business, let alone run a brewery.

Stopped by here for a beer with friends during the first night of Hill Billy Days, and enjoyed a 'POG' - passionfruit - orange - guava cider. Before settling on the POG, I was able to taste a few of the beers on tap, and almost got a flight, but decided I should eat something before drinking too much. The cider had a lower alcohol content, despite being a little sweet, and it was really the perfect happy hour drink as we people watched, chatted with the friendly locals and brewery staff, and watched several dishes of delicious food be served all around us.After our beer we headed off into the night, expecting to eat carnival food among the crowds enjoying the festival, but nothing really caught our fancy, so we decided to head back to Broken Throne for dinner. At this point it was after 8 pm, and dark out, but it was really a lovely comfortable evening, so we opted to sit outside. All the seating on the ground level was full, so we ordered food and then headed upstairs to sit on the deck. It was really dark up there, but somehow, the staff found us and served our various wings, boneless chicken tenders, loaded fries and wings. I had the Sovereign, a burger with beer cheese and caramelized onions, plus an order of fries. It was ok, but a little overcooked and heavy. I attributed that to the late hour...despite that, I loved the whole atmosphere, and the beer. This place is a must-do in Pikeville - definitely take advantage of tasting beers first, and don't miss out on the loaded fries!!

Super friendly service. We were greeted immediately. There are multiple televisions inside for sports watching. The location is convenient near shops, other restaurants and the college. The other customers were all happy and it seems like the locals also patronize this place. The food was delicious. I asked for my burger to be VERY well done which I do everywhere. And at many other places I have received my burger as burnt and dry. Not here!! They cooked it perfectly. The burger was juicy and there wasn't any pink at all which was so good. The cheese fries were also good and had plenty of cheese. I will definitely be back.
