I really like this cozy coffeehouse. It's adorable inside and a great place to meet friends. They have THE BEST chocolate chip cookies to take & bake. They've become a Christmas staple @ our house! I do wish there were more sugar free/sugar substitute drink options on the menu. If I could submit a suggestion, it would be that.

Please and Thank You “RIVER” has it all! A cozy fireplace, delicious treats (you can’t go wrong with a derby bar or chocolate chip cookie) good coffee, and tunes (what other coffee shops just casually have a jukebox?). The butterscotch latte is a new favorite—the sea salt on top really makes it. Thanks, P&TY!

Y'all I love desserts! We were driving down the River Road with no destination in mind really... We had gotten toward what seemed like the end and I pulled into this shopping center parking lot to check maps and make a plan with my friend of where to go from here.... THATS when I saw it!A sign declaring that this business had the best chocolate chip cookie in KY! Well... with a declaration like that I knew I needed to try one. The sun was shining BRIGHT and it was hard to tell if the business was open. I took a chance and the door opened... to a beautiful cafe style vibe with cake plates and desserts on the counter, a nice seating area and a few friendly faces behind the counter. After browsing a bit I decided on a chocolate chip cookie - of course- and a peanut butter sandwich type cookie. It was tough choice between the peanut butter and an oatmeal sandwich (while writing this I def wish I had gotten BOTH!). As soon as I got into the car I dug right in. WOW! The chocolate chip cookie was firm outside by so gooey inside. Delicious! The peanut butter was soft and chewy and the I loved the filling.Stop what you are doing if you are reading this and go there now! You need their cookies!Parking: Large easy to navigate shared parking lot

OMG! This was a spur of the moment stop and so glad we made it. It was almost closing time but snuck in to grab a treat...or two. Either way, what a great decision. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing as well as the "derby" bar cookie! Have some peanut butter cream pie cookies to take home as well and they are so tasty. The "derby" was so soft and creamy but thoroughly cooked and wished I had bought more!!! The counter persons were friendly and helpful! There was ample seating is you wanted to enjoy your treats at the location and it was cozy and quiet. Also available were coffees and various drinks to go with your treats.

Super friendly and quick. Inside was adorable and many of the tables taken with friends and individuals. I popped in for a to go Americano for myself, and they gave me a sizable great for my pup.

Nice place. Weird seating in the greenhouse area. If you sit on the bench in the window you are too tall for the person in the chair. So it feels like you’re towering over them.

Always a regular... until now. It was just me in the cafe and nobody else. I was attempting to catch up on work and would have liked silence. I asked a cashier to turn down the music slightly. He said "No, that's the deal" and pointed to a sign that read, "Loud music, no decaf." Well, that particular day I had opted for a decaf tea, so clearly there are limitations to the sign. I always thought it was just for the aesthetic. Considering the amount of money I've spent at this place, and given I was the only one in the store to even experience the ambience, I thought the customer service would have been better and the volume turned down just a tinge. Other customers I've talked to also find it abrasive. After his response, I drove to Heine Brothers and did my work there. The drinks are better, the service, and the enviroment. I am no longer a regular. Disappointed. Value your customers better.

I love the chocolate chip cookies! I definitely understand why they are so highly rewarded. There are always freshly baked options here. The derby bar and sugar cookies are too sweet for my liking though.

Never been here before. But the chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Nice casual place

Got a matcha latte which was okay for the taste. Reason I wasn’t impressed was the fees this cafe passes it onto the customers. For this coffee, it costed me almost $7 incl taxes and fees. They pass along the health insurance fees for their employees to customers and credit card processing fees to customers also. It’s a sheer rip off. This coffee probably costs them meager amount but passing along the certain cost to customer is just a rip off. Starbucks costs less than this!!!!

Probably a 9 or 9.5 out of 10. The vibe is not quite me, but the coffee is excellent and a beautiful dining area. Clean, comfortable and a great place to work.
