Extremely bad customer service. Staring with our Waitress, she took our order and it literally took an hour before the the cook came over to our table to start cooking. We ordered baked mussels as an appetizer and they arrived practically when the cook got to our table… and they were already “COLD”. We ordered: 1).- Filet Mignon & Steak (2 orders) 2).- Special Lobster, Shrimp & Scallops. 3).- Salmon side order. The ONLY edible food was “the rise” that for some reason came out ok. But as far as the rest it was seriously the worst ever experience in a Hibachi Japanese Restaurant ever. Steak, Shrimp, & Lobster, had absolutely no flavor at all. The side of Salmon was actually over cooked and burned as well as the vegetables. Very disappointed at the Chef, and like if that was not enough…. our waitress service was terrible. We asked for the check and left our plates half eaten, as a waitress came back to leave the check at our table the bus boy came over and started cleaning the skillet even before we started getting up our table. Ferry root service overall definitely do not recommend this place.

Sushi rolls were so good. Every bite was bliss. I also had the avocado salad which was fresh and had a light, flavorful Asian dressing. I wish this restaurant wasn't 3 hours away! I'd eat here every week if I lived here. Portions were generous. I am half Japanese and I just visited Japan 2 years ago. This sushi is excellent! And the service here was awesome too!!

We came to Koto for the sushi in the dining area. The sushi was amazing. The fish was definitely sushi grade and the cuts were beautiful. Definitely going back.

Koto is a great place to relax and enjoy some good authentic Japanese food. The Hibachi is fantastic and so is is the Sushi. I would recommend eating here any time you get an opportunity.

Went out with hubby for a lunch date. Omg the tuna sushi was to die for! The service was fast and super friendly. It’s higher priced but great quality.

Gave my party (of two) soda from a 2liter. You know the difference from a 2liter and a cola dispenser. Mushroom soup had a fish taste. Fried rice tasted disgusting as well as the the fried noodles.

We like this place alot. They always have good fresh sushi. We don't do the grill much but whenever we have the chefs are always very talented.
Good Japanese restaurant with hibachi tables available and high quality sushi. Service and hibachi chefs are not consistent are my only negative experiences.
