Nice small town diner, had a pleasant lunch here. The catfish platter was large and tasty, also the service was great! Oh yeah, and they had fresh brewed sweet tea to go along with that. From the outside you wouldn't think it's much of a place, but once you come inside, it's this quaint place that is artfully decorated!
I love eating here, the food and service is great, I just wish sometimes they weren't closed as often, or advertised more often somewhere the days they're going to be closed. Other than that it's a great place to eat.

I moved to Southern Kentucky from northern Illinois two years ago and the Chicago area and suburbs are well known for its local diners and carry outs. A sandwich that all of them have on the menu is a Philly Cheese Steak and most of them are quite good. I was very surprised and impressed with the Philly Cheese at Slappyz.
