“The special sandwich this week had cheese and ham and jalapeños and it was completely out of this world. Incredible Reuben and the cornbread salad was fantastic. Our bar tender from Four Roses distillery recommended it and we are so glad we took her up.“

“I really like this brunch spot, located in the basement of an antique gallery, that used to be a school (I was told) and the largest collection of antiques I've ever seen. The restaurant is only open a few days a week and reservations are only taken from 11am- 1:30pm. It's a three course meal that consists of appetizer, entree and dessert. The menu changes every few weeks and you have a selection from a list of three items per course. It's beautifully decorated , but since it's in the basement, it's pretty chilly so bring a sweater. Oh, and it is way off the beaten path. Expect to drive two-lane, curvy roads to get there. In fact, google maps had me on a one lane road for over a mile on my way there. That might be normal for some, but it's kind of scary for me...“

“Our server Jada was awesome. We started with the fried banana peppers appetizers with ranch dressing instead of the cocktail sauce- these were really really good. Actually, all of our food was good - we had a hamburger with french fries, some chicken wings, an open face sandwich with a white sauce, and a pulled pork sandwich. And the place has a great casual ambience as well.“

“I stopped by with my family on a whim, we weren't planning on eating out. We live in Frankfort and were on our way home. I've eaten at a LOT of taco joints across the country and have a list of my favorites. These were hands down the best tacos I've had outside of Texas. The owner hand makes the tortillas, is out delivering the food, is super friendly. It's definitely a family place and makes you feel like you're invited into a home getting authentic cooking. It was such an unexpected experience for an unplanned stop. I'll be bringing my coworkers here for lunch often. They're switching to cash only this summer so keep that in mind and swing by an ATM on the way. It's worth it.“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rolling Oven Pizza and trying their Supreme Veggie Pizza, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The pizza was a vibrant medley of fresh vegetables, each slice bursting with the flavors of perfectly roasted peppers, juicy tomatoes, succulent mushrooms, and crisp onions. The cheese was wonderfully melted and stringy, creating that satisfying pull with each bite, which, when combined with their signature crispy yet chewy crust, made for a truly mouth-watering experience. What stood out to me was the freshness of the ingredients. You could tell that everything was high-quality and well-selected. The service at Rolling Oven was also commendable; the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The ambiance of the place added to the overall charm. It's cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual dinner out with friends or family. Whether you're a vegetarian or just someone who appreciates a good pizza loaded with fresh veggies, Rolling Oven's Supreme Veggie Pizza is a must-try. I left completely satisfied and looking forward to my next visit!“

“Wonderful food. I ordered a medium rare cheeseburger. It wasn't bad, but it was well done. If you like that go ahead, but I don't. It was lacking in terms of seasoning.I got onions on it and it was a little too much, I had to take some off. The fries were great, but I generally like them being cooked a little longer than what was given. It was crispy, but more like potato wedges. That's a personal preference, so don't count my dislike of potato wedges against them. Please note, I ate a decent amount of fries prior to taking this photo. I got ranch dressing, and it was very good ranch. I suspect it was housemade. They had some great macaroni and cheese, it was very thick. They definitely used some quality cheese. My 7 month old liked it too. They use pepper in it, and I can always appreciate seasoned macaroni. I don't think people use seasonings in macaroni but I promise some freshly ground black pepper and garlic powder will do wonders for your macaroni. What stood out was the service. Our waiter was extremely charismatic and friendly. He made a lot of good jokes and we had a good time. My 7 month old originally agreed to pay, she backed out at the last minute unfortunately. Maybe next time. The atmosphere was also wonderful. I would come here again.“

“I cannot say enough about the kindness of the staff here. My father had a medical emergency while waiting on dinner and the staff dialed 911 for me within seconds and offered to box up our food because we couldn’t stay to eat it. They also closed the restaurant while the EMT’s were working on Dad. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees/ staff. I have eaten there on other occasions too and the food has always been excellent.“
“The service was great. I saw a 3PM slot available for a reservation. When my wife and grandson arrived at 2:30, they had a table for us. The cornbread came fast with Cole slaw. Our drinks came quickly thereafter. I ordered the fried chicken (excellent). It had a garlic sauce that was magnificent. My grandson had the Shaker Burger. It was excellent. It was also a lot of burger. My wife had the French dip, It was great. The Fried Okra was top notch. For dessert, most of the selections were farm to table from Shaker Village. The pumpkin pie a-la-mode was the best per my grandson. The pumpkin cheesecake didn't have any gram cracker crust in normal cheesecake. My wife had a pie with chocolate and pecan pie. It is great. We had a great view of the lawn from our table. Love this place.“

“This isy favorite Mexican restaurant food is always great, hostess is super nice. Only problem is the waiter Jose is rude and rushes you to order. Doesn't come back to check and see if everything is okay or to even do refills has an all around bad attitude. We waited 20 minutes for silverware after our food was brought to us, so our food was cold as we ate it. Had to get another waiter to bring the silverware. I'll still come back here to eat but I would prefer a different more friendly waiter/waitress“

“Food is very good, limited menu but very flavorful and I don't think you'll be disappointed. The pork chop is moist and tender and the caramelized onions and bacon jam really compliment the flavors. Are you a fan of lemon? If so, definitely get a slice of the lemon pie! It's made with the rind in the filing and it's delicious.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetable plate available on the menu.“

“Such a good place! The prices are so good that even if the food was average, it would still be worth it. But the food is also amazing, so you can’t beat it. The service was amazing, very friendly. Their English was not perfect, but they knew what we were saying and our orders were 100% correct with no mistake. I would go back here at least once a week if I lived in Lawrenceburg. Highly recommend!“

“Great friendly local place to visit with really good food. This place can fill up quickly especially on weekends so go early. Wait staff are extremely friendly and helpful. When the place is bustling and very busy.. please be a little understanding as the dining area can turn tables 2-3 times on a busy night. Great family atmosphere.“

“I just want to give a shout out to Paula and her staff! They do our Wednesday night meals @forksofelkhornpastist. They do such a great job, always good food. This last one, our Holiday Meal last night (for Thanksgiving and Christmas), was also delicious! Her stuffing/dressing is awesome. So, if you are thinking of ordering from them, you won't be disappointed. The BEST thing - the 7 layer salad! I had it for "dessert" last night, even though they have great desserts as well.“
