We like a family run bakery when we can find them. Where the doughnuts and muffins taste fresh from the oven. Amons hit it out of the park! They had coffee biscuits doughnuts and pastries. Everything we tried was fluffy and fresh. It felt like home. Give them a try!

I waited in line at the window for 15+ minutes while the lady would come to the window but not open it. Just for her to finally open the window to tell me they have none of the donuts I asked for. I would ask for a different donut item, and she would immediately say she didn't have them. Absolutely rude, terrible customer service. I didn't get any donuts..

Amons has been a staple of this area for decades, It's an amazing hometown restaurant and bakery. The food and bakery are amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and the consistency of the food being good is great. I come here all the time and have never had a bad experience. I would of added photo's but I ate my food to quickly to do so. :/ But check this place out and support a local business!Parking: Parking is great, Several spots up front, Handi-cap parking is right in front of the doors.Kid-friendliness: Small town restaurant that is very kid friendly, The staff loves to see kids come in and is a pleasant atmosphere for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: It is Wheelchair Accessible

Great, quick, dine in or take out. Bakery is outstanding. Grilled food is good. Personal favorite is Taco Salad. Nice place to sit down for a quick bite or carry out.

Sometimes the donuts are absolutely not fresh. You can tell when they’re several days old. They’re hard and dry. There is a lady who has worked there for quite a long time, any time I go through the drive thru and ask if they have one certain kind of donut her response is always “idk I just got here” and walks away to look. Always so rude. The cakes I’ve bought are always extremely salty and due to that taste horrible. It’s like someone’s accidentally putting too much salt in the cake mix. Today we went at 10am, they were not due to close until 12pm, and there was not a single item out for sale. Not a donut, not cookie, absolutely nothing. I understand that they may be sold out of certain items, but to have zero items available two hours before closing? I wasted gas driving all the way across town to purchase there, so I guess call in advance or do not go on Sundays. If you’re not preparing enough to get through to noon, then don’t stay open until noon. Or maybe the staff were just eager to go home today and put everything away idk. We’ll be going to master donuts now, they’re open until 1pm on Sundays and had plenty of supply left, also very friendly customer service.

One of the best small town experiences you can have. Food is always great

We stopped in yesterday on our way to visit our son in Richmond. We were very disappointed to say the least. We ordered a dozen donuts, the majority were powdered. We decided to sit down on the inside to eat them so we would not have a mess. The powdered donuts tasted as if they had been made a few days prior and they had added additional powdered sugar on top. They were dry, disgusting, and the fillings were only gel. The remainder of the donuts were stale as well. At almost $14 a dozen, we expected FRESH DONUTS. I cannot review the remainder of the bakery for the simple fact that we only purchased donuts. But if the donut section is any reflection of the remainder of the bakery, WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! If you ever want Amon’s donuts at a fraction of the price, get some off of the clearance racks in the food department at Walmart. They were still taste better than Amon’s. When I got home, I put these donuts exactly where they belong.. in the trash!

Ordered sandwich and chips and drink. Did not have either of the drinks I wanted, so I asked for refund on the drink. Without telling me anything, they gave me refund on entire order, and charged me again for what I actually got, but final price was HIGHER without the drink! Would think they could have mentioned that before. Will never eat here again.

Over $9.00 for a chef salad with extra ranch dressing. The salad looks like a side salad.
