inside the inconspicuous building the size of a house lies a kitchen full of talented cooks and the most amazing Mexican food i have ever eaten. Delicious, hearty, authentic food for amazing prices. The horchata is also really good!!! Loved this place totally worth it.

This is a tiny place with a BIG heart and even better food!This place is truly a treasure, the staff is super friendly, the food is all prepared in house, it's all fresh and homemade. This is the kind of place that truly deserves 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! I could name a handful of Michelin restaurants that could learn a thing or two from a restaurant like El Tesoro. Normally I post pictures with my reviews but we were too hungry! Definitely try the burrito pastor and their fresh guacamole. Thank you for your great service, can't wait to come here again! ?

Passed by the place quite often, and decided to give it a shot. So glad I did. This is true Mexican food, without the trappings of TexMex or Americanization. Mom and pop kind of place - husband and wife team. Street tacos are the absolute best I've had since my last trip to California. And the empanadas were absolute perfection. Highly recommend you give El Tesoro a try - you won't regret it, unless you don't like great food!

El Tesoro's has the most authentic Mexican food I've found in Somerset. It's usually fairly empty when I go in but I think that's only because it's not well known. If Somerset realized how good this food is they would be staying packed. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because several times I've come around 7 and they are already closed for the night. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast and always accurate. I've never had any mistakes made on my order. If you are looking for good Mexican food this is the right place.

If you are looking for Real Authentic Mexican Food in Somerset, this is the place to go! It’s my second time here, and i am just as happy today, as i was with my first visit! Tacos De Lengua is my go to, and my fiancé had the Bistec Mexicano! Absolutely delicious! Wish i had taken a pic of his plate…. It was too late when i thought of it, but i did take a picture of the Lengua taco! I highly recommend El Tesoro!

This place is well hidden if you are not familiar with the Somerset Areas. It is off the beaten path of US 27 and in the downtown area of old part of Somerset, However, the food is delicious. The most authentic Mexican Food in Somerset. The Burritos are GIANT and full deliver when you ask for extra cheese! There are so many good items to choose from, the street tacos, and the Antojitos are truly amazing. To top it off the owners are wonderful people. The atmosphere is cosey and very welcoming. We will be back, a hidden jewel.
