“We LOVE Half Peach. It is always one of our favorites when we are in town. The best assortment of vegan desserts in Louisville that are all amazing and a smaller food menu. Our favorites are the big Chik'n Miso salad, the drumsticks, and the pizzas. I went here for my birthday in February and stuffed myself and still had leftovers. The portions are very generous and the staff is super friendly and helpful.”

“Kid-friendliness: The staff member who was working on our visit (3/12/24) was very kind to my kids who have been wanting to try rolled ice cream for a bit now! ? They were very excited, which didn't seem to perturb him a bit thankfully!They got Cookie Monster rolls with sprinkles, chocolate chips, and M&M's which they just loved! My partner and I got the Morning Latte base without fruity pebbles, and added chocolate chips! ?Delicious ice cream, great experience, and wonderful staff!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“My latest visit to Ten Pin was for my son's school bowling league. The alley was active for a Friday afternoon. We filled up at least 20 lanes but barely took up a third of the alley. The lanes kept score for the players and flashed standing pins before throw #2. A long, curved seat is available for players on two lanes and overall there was enough space for people to sit between bowling. Behind the playing area was a long row of tables, which was a nice space to watch our kids without being in their personal space or distracting them.True story. While I was there to support my son I had been dreaming of bowling alley fries from the snack. I was not disappointed in their crinkle fries. So good! I also got a grilled cheese. Nothing extravagant, just one off the griddle like your grandma would make you. The snack bar has a full menu, including pizza and burgers. Drinks were plentiful, including soda, Icees and beer. Check out Ten Pin for leagues, birthday parties and basic lane rentals. This is a classic bowling alley to enjoy!”

“The food was good but I specifically asked for my salmon to be cooked and seasoned a certain way. The waitress said she could do it and didn't. She got lost. No drink refills, needed sauce, said she'd be right back but again disappeared. The coconut with strawberry splash in it was amazing!”

“The ice cream here is okay, I find them WAY too sweet and if you are curious about the calories, all I can say is that almost all of them are 1k+ calories, except for the smoothies. The line can be quite long if it is busy and I don't like the fact that the fan is blocking 2 lights and is causing flickering near the ordering area, so watch out if you have epilepsy.”

“I got the best service!!!I am handicapped. My left hand doesn't open far enough for me to grasp my drinks...so I always ask if they can set the drink on my car door so I can grasp it in my right hand and press it against my left arm to balance. The team member helped so much....I made a mess of it and she reset the frozen drink in a larger cup . She said her name was Gloria. She was so sweet and patient with me. Thank you for such a kind spirit.”

“Wow, what a great place! My wife and I visited Louisville, and on the recommendation of a local, popped into Mayan Cafe and were completely impressed! The hostess and waitress were extremely nice and even though we came toward the end of the night were very welcoming and never hurried us along. The margarita with mezcal I ordered was perfect, and the dark, romantic room was fun and had a good, buzzy energy. We ordered the sikil pak and both agreed it was the best we've had - great depth of flavor and silky texture, it is a must-try! The scallop ceviche was also great - the scallops were marinated to the perfect texture, the flavors were fresh and bright, and the serving size was generous. My wife ordered the tuna tacos and loved them, raved about them. I ordered the duck with black mole and it was really great - succulent dark duck, confited and served shredded, tasted almost like deeply roasted, juicy pot roast - awesome flavor, but the mole was the star - great compliment to the duck. We split the cochinita pibil and both loved it - the achiote sauce was beautiful to look at and tasted earthy and complex, and the fried plaintains it was served with were nicely tourneed - a cool little touch that added to the fancy vibes of the meal. Even though it is certainly gourmet-level and very interesting food and a great way to experience a different kind of "Mexican" cuisine, and the dishes are crafted with love and look great on the plate, the prices were very fair and not too expensive. We loved Louisville, plan to visit more often, and will definitely be back to Mayan Cafe (to hopefully try the rabbit next time!). Highly recommended.”

“YaimaSo I entertain clients for a living, which has brought me to some if the highest rated restaurants in the country. So when I say that this experience was par none the greatest I have ever had, it puts me in shock that this hidden oasis is nestled in Louisville. If I had stumbled upon this restaurant in a little haven of Cuba that would make more sense. The love was experienced in every bite but the passion of our waitress brought it all to a climax that will live with us forever. Yaima was one of lights in the industry that reminds you that people make the difference. She was the star that brings this wonderful experience to the mountain top of a five star experience. Recommend you sit outside where you can experience authentic cuban music as the food whisks you away to time that food speaks all language and units cultures. Bravo.”

“My experience is a bit different...we ordered via GrubHub tonight. We are new to KY & wanted to try Havana Rumba. ALSO, we have never had cuban food before. The restaurant was quick & the GH driver got our order to us just as quick. We opened our bag & found part of our order is missing. I tried to contact the driver but was unable to. So I contacted Havana Rumba. The person that answered was very kind, verified my order & found that the driver had left the second part of my order. She tried contacting the driver but they refused to return & make the delivery right (who did NOT deserve the tip he got). So Havana Rumba rose to the occasion going above & beyond! They apologized for the situation & one of them delivered the missing food to us. Not only was it delicious, but the customer service was beyond exceptional! ? Way to go Havana Rumba, excited to try more from your menu! Can't say the same for GrubHub...”

“Hands down, the best chicken shawarma in Louisville. Would recommend the shawarma fries or the shawarma plate if you're extra hungry. Don't forget to add some Zu sauce to your order. It's very mild on the spice level but adds a nice zing to your meal. The owner is one of the nicest in town as well. Glad to see family run businesses doing well in Louisville.”

“I was here this evening for dinner with friends. We had a great meal, great drinks, and our server was friendly and attentive. The only problem was the dessert which I ordered; sopapillas. These are traditional New Mexican soft, fried, puffed dough pockets, drizzled with honey or covered in cinnamon and sugar. Think small soft donuts. Well, what I got was a hard, flat, fried tortilla, cut into quarters, and covered in cinnamon and sugar. That is NOT any kind of a sopapilla I have ever had at any Mexican restaurant before. It was awful. When I told the server my thoughts on what was served, she argued with me that this was indeed sopapillas. Right. My advise; do not order this usually delightful dessert at Tres Amigos, because you'll get something other than true sopapillas!”
