“Five stars for D. Burnham's restaurant inside the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Cincinnati! I recently popped in for a quick bite while running errands downtown, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the Cali Chicken with fries, and both were absolutely delicious. The fries were perfectly warm and crisp, and the sandwich was filled with some of the freshest avocado and vegetables I've had in a while. I sat at the bar, where Matthew provided exceptional service. He was extremely welcoming and friendly, striking the perfect balance of engaging conversation while also giving me space to enjoy my meal. “Great locally owned restaurant for getting some pizza! Our whole family is gluten free so finding good pizza on a gluten free crust can be difficult. Their gluten free crust is really good and the whole family enjoys it. GF crust is a $3 add on and if you are hungry then you can eat the whole thing. “I was debating between 4 and 5 stars. I decided to go 5 based on it being a really cool local space with just fantastic service. We had 10 people show up for our 8 person brunch reservation and they were like, "no problem, we've got you in the party room". Our waiter was great and was on the spot with everything. The food was solid. Our table got some of everything. My wife's burger was kind of oddly small, but it tasted great. Everyone was very happy with their drinks and their food. They also have just a cool vibe to the place. You can tell it was a gas station, but they made it look so cool. I'm glad we finally got to try The Standard and I'll be happy to go back.“

The Caulisprouts were just about everyone’s favorite, but I got so many compliments on the pulled pork w/Tabasco slaw and the Greek wraps (it was a great vegetarian option)too! “I knew that they served food here but I did not know that they have such an extensive menu of fresh, homemade foods. I have tried the baked chicken and it was seasoned perfectly, the bacon cheeseburger is yummy, the chicken fingers were a lil tough but the BBQ sauce was so good, lasagna and garlic toast was awesome too. I hear that their ribs are amazing and can't wait to try them next time. I met a lady who drives almost an hour every few days just to get them, she says.“

You can sit inside or outside (The Well) with a pass through the window at the bar. Service was consistent from the bar to the food window. (they were attentive and actually knew the menu and could answer my questions ).The food and menu has it's own entity. You won't be disappointed, and they have plenty of tvs and music to keep you entertained. Grab your guys or yir girlfriends and hang out for the night and dive in like I did. I was ninithwr way to teat the menu than to get 4-5 items. (well priced )“

“This experience was such a pleasant surprise! It was a beautiful and intimate location and the food was fantastic! Parking is tricky but we made it work. The tables are a little close to where you can hear the conversations next to you but it seems you can choose a table that fits best for your liking. The hostess and waitress were excellent! “This was the first time I was not happy with their food. I didn't care for their smoked salmon with dried capers. It had no particular flavor and the dried capers was like eating a nut. The brownie was more like it wasn't cooked all the way.“

All the food we have choosen has been very good! Every time our son comes in town we try a new place between here and Cincinnati and so far this has been his favorite! He had the street tacos and raved about them! It does take just a little bit of time to get our food however, it is 100% worth it because it’s so fresh and hot and very tasty! please do give this place a try, you won’t regret it!“
