“It was quick, friendly, not a big franchise. It was a family business and the oven brick pizza taste was outstanding!!Vegetarian options: I want to say the pizza sauce had actual flavor. It was so tasty. I can't wait to try another pizza. And it was very fulfilling we got a 16" beast pizza and had enough for breakfast the next day!!!”

“This place surprised us. We stayed at an Airbnb across the street and strolled over. The menu was unique to us and included frog legs. The food came out fast and the locals were very friendly. Our server was also the owner and she was great. The food was delicious. The bill came and we were blown away by the price. It was as if we stepped back in time—a better time. We will visit again.”

“Top teir pizza. One of these days I need to compare it to Arty's pizza a mile or two away. Cooked to perfection of a nice balance of soft and firm without being doughie. Cheese is both rich and generously layered. Not fully cut, and it's floppy not unlike a new York style. The sauce is fantastic. All this for less then 20$.”

“I cannot say enough about how welcoming and hospitable Roxie was to my group. The Carter house wasn't open but she saw us wandering the streets of Vanceburg and brought us to the roof top to enjoy great conversations, drinks, and local pub fare (the only place open in town that night). She made a relatively uneventful night into a very memorable one. We hope to come back sooner than planned and will contact Roxie to book a dinner in advance.”

“Headed home on the AA & finally had an opportunity to stop. Ordered a footer & some corn nuggets. Both were very good. They’re not stingy with the sauce or slaw so I ended up eating my hot dog before I left. Corn nuggets were perfect on the road. Staff was polite & food came out quicker than expected. I was the only customer @ about 4pm @ I’m not sure how. I’ll be back, for sure.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here! The atmosphere is quaint and relaxing and we were treated with live music, which set the tone beautifully! The rolls were excellent and the Sasquatch pretzel was great as well! I had a traditional Ohio dish of beef and noodles and it felt like home! Will be back again on return visits!”
